Yovany Benitez the owner of metro is a superb business person; he really work with your budget very understanding and always willing to help. He went above and beyond for me, I would recommend metro to any one; they will do a superb job for your event.

Metro Florals is the absolute best! Jovanny and Melissa were so easy, accommodating, and made our wedding vision better than what we imagined it to look. My husband and I got married at Leonard's Palazzo on 9/24/22 in the Leonardo Da Vinci room, and the entire room was stunning. I want to start off by saying I loved working with Melissa at Metro Florals for my wedding. We first came to get a price quote for certain things we wanted like centerpieces, arch, bouquets, etc. We came back with what we wanted in our price range and I put a deposit down. We paid for 7 centerpieces, a sweetheart flower table that draped down, 6 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutonnières, and 2 corsages. I wanted it to have blue hydrangeas, white flowers and these other blue tinol flowers I think they were called.
I was told that someone would call me 3-4 weeks before the wedding to finish paying in full and to see what my centerpieces would look like. I had to make the initial call. I called them about 2 weeks before the wedding because I hadn’t heard from them. When I came in to pay and see my centerpiece, it was beautiful. I told her what I initially wanted for my bouquet, which was white roses, these blue flowers and light blue roses.
The day of the wedding, our centerpiece were missing the blue tinsol flowers, my bouquet was mostly white. White blue hydrangeas that I did not ask for and our sweetheart table did not drape. I was mostly disappointed in my bouquet. And the centerpieces missing those flowers. If they would of called me to tell me that you they forgot to add it, then I would of been fine with it but there was no communication. It was beautiful reguardless but I would of liked to get what I paid for, especially if it was almost 3k in flowers.

Metro Floral Decorators in Astoria did a beautiful job with the flower arrangements for my daughter’s wedding at Terrace on the Park on September 4. We worked with Melissa, who is very knowledgeable and gave us good advice. I am allergic to many flowers so I requested orchids, as much as possible, and they met all my requirements. The chuppah was elegant and beautiful, with white roses, white hydrangeas, and white orchids with some green leaves. My daughter and her husband, in a practical and economical move, requested potted white phalaenopsis orchids for the centerpieces instead of cut flowers, so that the guests could take them home. Without my asking, Metro florist added some smaller white orchids to the soil as well as branches to make a stunning, airy, and elegant centerpiece that even now, almost a month and a half later is flourishing on my coffee table. The orchids are top quality with very large flowers. Metro Florist even, again without my asking, put a few orchids on the wedding cake!
All the bouquets and boutonnieres were fresh and lovely. Everyone commented on the beauty of the flowers. We were very pleased with all the extra touches. Thank you!
