He was very friendly and made sure we were making the decision with enough information. He handled the paperwork portion of the transaction efficiently and taking the time to explain the process. Nice place but owner is way to pushy. Brags about customer service yet I went to big lots of a mattress and received better service from them.

I had shopped several mattress stores and returned because of the great service that I received from Josh. Very helpful and not pushy very patient. I was disappointed about one thing; though told all deliveries were free (ad on their site too) and I was charged for delivery

Steve was awesome, professional, understood my concerns and put me on the right mattress. The two delivery guys were quick, efficient and helpful.

A lot of options. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Ian Smith and other staff really guided me to the perfect mattress; which turned out to be an amazing adjustable hand tufted soft mattress called the Chattam and Wells Buckingham Palace edition. It’s super comfortable and very luxurious for a fair price. Stop in and see Ian or Steve in Johnstown NY.

Salesmen were helpful on finding the right mattress for my sleeping style. Plan on spending at least an hour there to find the right fit for you. Free delivery and old mattress removal also helped. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new mattress.

ASK FOR IAN SMITH! On Tuesday I walked in to buy a twin bed set for my step son. I went in and Josh was there to guide me right to the clearance beds in front. And only showed me one more $800 mattress in the back. I proceeded to tell him $400 was the highest I'll go but prefer something lower if they have it. As we sat down to run my numbers, it was apparent that my credit line was pretty high and proceeded show me a $500 mattress set and completely disregarded the clearance mattresses in the front he first told me about.my friend was with me trying out the other beds. So when we started to leave Josh was stating he will be back in the store on friday. As soon as I left the parking lot, I got a call, Josh was asking if he could run my info to buy the mattress I didn't want (while I wasn't in the store) and asked me to come back and sign papers later. I told him no. Not to run my info while I wasn't present. Good thing I didnt. The next day I went back in hopes for another sales man. Josh never told me about 2 other mattresses in my price range and never told me a shipment was coming in with memory foam mattresses on sale for $100. As I talked to the other salesman (Ian Smith) he was concerned that my account was holding a quote for a queen continental mattress with adjustable bed frame. When I was only asking about twin sizes. He showed me my account and I was appalled that it was even on there, when I never asked for that size. Josh also bragged that while I was shopping for a twin I fell in love with this queen and wanted that instead of the twin bed. Which is not true, I'm shopping for a bed for Christmas. Ian was an honest man and helped me get the bed I wanted in the price range that made it easy for me to say yes to an was very helpful and didn't try to pressure me or make me feel uncomfortable. He was very understanding of my needs and was all about the customer

I purchased a queen mattress set along with two headboards today. I was extremely pleased with the customer service I received from Ian at the Johnstown NY store. The atmosphere was very relaxing, making it an enjoyable experience to take your time and not feel pressured to pick out your favorite mattress. Let's face it folks, buying a good mattress is not only peace of mind that you can get a great night sleep and not wake up in pain, it's an investment. I absolutely believe I received the best bottom line price from Ian and will be doing business with him again in the future. I definitely recommend going to see him even if you're out of the area, the drive is worth it for the service!

The store manager Josh took his time and explained the differences between all the different mattresses. He was very helpful and I highly recommend that if your looking for a new bed to go see Josh!

Joshua was a tremendous help in picking a mattress and box spring for my father inlaw. He is on a fixed income and moving into senior housing. Metro Mattress gave us the best deal by far than anywhere else.

Joshua was very helpful and professional. I told him exactly what I needed.no frills. Honestly if there hasn't been a computer glitch I think I would have been out of there in 15 minutes. Great customer service!
