Mexican Connection reviews
5So the food was great but i waited for 40 mins for 2 fajitas which would have been fine if i dined in but i called in a pick up order so that was a little much.but other than that the food was good
Margaritas were fine and the service was fine. The Santa Fe cheese and onion enchilada is a wrap with cold shredded cheese and a cup of raw onions covered in a can of green chiles. The menus are covered in old food. The black beans are good but the refried beans are not great. Shredded beef enchilada and taco were ok.
Loved those place. Chimichanga is awesome. I don't like guacamole, but they're is great.
I've been coming here for months and my personal favorites are the flan and chips & salsa which can be paired with any beer of your choice! Fast service as well!
My husband and I wanted to take our family out for a New Years Eve dinner. The restaurant that we typically eat at had over an hour wait so we figured we would try out Mexican Connection. For starters, we weren’t able to get our baby’s stroller through the front door and had difficulties accessing the handicap entrance. The place is very small so it took a few minutes for the server to find a spot that would accommodate our stroller. We were immediately brought over a basket of chips and fresh salsa. The salsa was tasty but the chips were absolutely store- bought chips (and not the good ones). We ordered a margarita and it definitely only had a splash of tequila, if that. It took almost 45 minutes for us to get our food— this was a long wait for 3 kids under the age of 4 to wait. When we got our food, it was piping hot. My husbands chimichanga was decent but the rest of the food lacked flavor. My enchiladas had zero flavor and my boy’s quesadillas were barely cooked. If you are considering eating here, do yourself a favor and drive down the road to Cantina or El Mexicano for much better food and margaritas!
