If I could give negative stars I WOULD! Service department is a JOKE! Not only do they lie time after time but they damaged my brand new $120k camper! They’ve had it for 4 months for repairs and I have to call and track them down for answers on the status only to be continuously lied to. I can see why camping world kicked them out. The fact that they’re still in business shocks me and I hope people read this review and think twice about dealing with them. They are completely incompetent!

We purchased a 2020 Coachmen Spirit Ultralite from Meyer's this summer and our pick up date was Sept 3,2022. The day we picked it up, we had a nice walk thru, learning all the ins and outs of the new to us camper. We left 2 days later for a week long trip in the Poconos. After 2 days of rain, we realized we were getting soapy drips under the camper. We soon realized the gray tank was leaking. I immediately called Meyer's to let them know. Upon looking for said leak, we discovered that BOTH gray and black tanks were FULL! They hadn't even emptied them. Nor had they shampooed the carpet that was stained when we did our first walk thru. We paid the mandatory $895 for the service "inspection" and they didn't even empty the tanks? Now, I realize it's probably on us that we didn't check, but really? Then, when they did finally come get the camper to take it in for the leak, they returned it in the exact same condition, a week later, still leaking. Once again I called to let them know we still had the same problem. They came back, took the camper back for service, and AGAIN did not fix it. We were told we needed a new gray tank. It could not be fixed. So, after waiting over 3 months, with repeated calls to the service department, we finally got our new gray tank installed. Of course, it's now the end of December in Western New York and it's been winterized so we can't exactly test it. But the real kicker is that the camper came back completely FILTHY on the inside. Sticky stuff all over the counters. Tons of sticky dirty mess on the floors, broken glass on the floor, metal staples all over. Seriously? Why has customer service become so thoroughly disgusting? I do want to say we had a reasonable sales experience, but the service after has been deplorable. I would STRONGLY suggest that if you ever plan to purchase a camper here (or anywhere) hire an outside inspector to check it out. It will save you tons in the long run, rather it's money or time or frustration. It will more than pay for itself. All in all, we love our camper. So glad we have this to enjoy. Happy camping all.

The 5 stars is for Amanda in Title department of Bath, NY. My experience was not the best in purchasing a new RV. However I was lucky enough to speak to Amanda that works with the Titles. She went completely out of her way to help me in many other area's where others drastically dropped the ball. THANK YOU AMANDA. Kevin J Arndt

Very rude on the phone, could care less if they sell you a trailer as long as the get someone who doesn't know their pricing, so they can infalte the pricing

Stopped in to look at a specific model as we're traveling and our local dealer doesn't have any in stock for months. Don Mchale was kind enough to show us around (and even the dog) knowing that we're not local to the area and wouldn't be looking to buy from this loca. He made all of the family feel welcome and valued as customers. The rest of the staff were just as friendly. I'd definitely buy from here is they weren't 700 miles from my home.

This is the first review I have ever written concerning a dealership. The first person I came in contact with was Tyler who was a salesman at the Churchville location. I have to give him a lot of credit for not trying to have me put a deposit down or sign any paperwork until I was ready. I am not naïve as to some of the typical tactics that go on to make a quick sale, and this was not the case at all. With the purchase of an RV I also knew there was no cooling off period once you signed. Overall the experience was positive from the sale to how the staff talked to me during the entire transaction. Even on the day of picking up the RV the dealership had someone spend a whole hour going over the entire trailer, he was very decent about answering my questions. The mechanic who installed my weight distribution hitch was gracious enough to let me watch him. This was helpful so that I didn't drive away ignorant of how to set up the hitch. He later answered another question, which I appreciated.

I can only say that I felt like I was treated fairly, which made for a less stressful time.

Great RV retailer, service department, and parts store. We get all of our toy hauler service done and buy our parts for it at Meyer's. The prices are aligned with the rest of local suppliers and worth it for the friendly, competent service and the selection of items. The parts shop has everything from pet needs while camping, plumbing supplies, outdoor accessories, kitchen supplies, ambient lighting, TV recievers, ect. On our most recent visit we needed a new vent cover and faucet, and were able to find a good selection for both items. We also got a very nice outdoor rug and some treatment supplies for our black water tank.
Beyond the parts shop, the showroom is amazingly well appointed and always has various options of trailers and 5th wheels to explore. It's nice to be able to get an idea of what each brand/model offers and get what is best for your camping needs. Sales employees are readily available to give you tours and help you identify what you need in an RV.
This store is definitely the best around compared to the competition for its prices, selection and knowledgeable staff.
If you need service on your RV, parts, or are looking to purchase one.this is the place to go in the Rochester area.

With the help of Sara Orlando we were able to find and buy our trailer-which was not an easy task since we were downsizing.

Long but worth the read. Trust me. This place is a JOKE, FRAUDULENT, and DANGEROUS. Our RV ended up here when it needed emergency services. They were so hard to get a hold of to update us of what was happening with it. Mind you we live over an hour away. They DID call us to say someone left off the parking brake, and our RV smashed into another one. They wanted to pay us off for the damage and not fix it. Yeah, no. Why would we take less money to go and fix it somewhere else? They never fixed our water pump which we asked for (for months) and paid for. When we went to get our RV back, it died right down the road from a seed battery. Which was fine before. They forgot (?) To mention they had to jump it several times to get it to start. So safe for us driving that hour away. So then we had to leave it and come back another day as they "didn't have time" to fix it then. They refused to pay for the battery. The installed the windshield they broke without sealing it, it leaks when it rains, the tires were overinflated to unsafe levels. We paid for repairs that we then had to pay someone else near a thousand dollars to refix. This place is horrible. Like filing a BBB complaint fgorrible. Do not go there. They think they can get away with whatever as they're a big company with out competition there. Management is shady. I wish I could give it negative stars. Their response to this is inaccurate.our RV is not 2e years old, it's a 2007. We have a receipt for paying for the water pump. Our battery was fine. And we didn't leave it for 3 days. It was overnight. Talk to my lawyers. Don't believe this company.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have some air conditioning issues with my new camper that I need to bring to your attention.

Before I explain the AC issues to you I want to commend my salesman Kyle Elvin (Farmington NY) on a fantastic job. He and the rest of the staff were very pleasant to deal with.

My new trailer was delivered to the campsite on 7/1/2021. The air conditioning began to freeze up two days later. I called your service department but they did not return my call. For this reason I left the Farmington location a bad review. Shortly after that I received a call back. The service department told me they would send someone out to look at the AC on 7/17/21. The service man Don checked it out and said he would communicate the issues to the shop and someone would get back to me.

I waited for someone to get back to me. I placed 3 telephone calls to the store between 7/19 and 7/27 before someone finally returned my calls yesterday 7/28/21. The AC replacement Don recommended is still not approved by Forrest River, and once it is (if the parts are available), they state it will be about a one month wait from the date of approval. It’s now 8/14 and still the AC is constantly freezing up. The last communication was about two weeks ago asking for pictures of the serial number of the unit.

I am beyond frustrated.

I bought a new camper to avoid situations like this. Please understand having no AC in the middle of a hot summer like this one is unbearable. Conversely letting the AC run may fluctuate in temperature making the environment unstable and extremely warm. This is a huge concern for me as I have a dog which puts her wellbeing at risk. (big problem)

The AC problem is not Meyers fault. Your customer service department is a problem however, and so is its ability to acquire, stock and install replacement parts for its customers. I realize this is your busy time of year but it’s time to figure out how to serve your customers in a timely manner. I doubt this year service wise is not any different from previous years. This is ridiculous.

All I want is the AC fixed and a demonstration of some sense of urgency on Meyer’s part.

I would like a loaner until this issue is resolved. It’s a small ask for what I’m dealing with right now. If needed I’ll pick up a replacement AC unit and install it myself.
Again no problems with Meyers other than service.

Bought a trailer and a w/d hitch 3 weeks ago came in today because I do not feel it was set up correctly. The rear of the truck was very low. They will adjust it but for an additional $50.00. So now I have to pay extra to have them fix what they installed.

I bought my first camper from here 10 years ago. Great experience. Now it is horrible. Will not buy my next one from here or have any service outside of the warranty done here.

I took a 25 foot Class C Forester RV from Meyers to the ADKs and it was my first experience camping this way. Start to finish I’d do it again! From the reservation process and instruction through Katelyn and Mike G through the drive there and back and the stay, it was simple and remarkably comfortable. Driving the Ford cab was like driving a car and making use of all mirror cams made it insanely easy to navigate even on the most winding busy ADK roads. Parking was a breeze. Hookups at the campground were a cinch. The queen size bed was incredibly comfortable and on nights where it got down into the 30s, having heat was such a blessing. The awning was awesome to eat under and the stainless steel appliances were a perfect supplement to campfire cooking. Game night at the table inside was comfortable as well. All in all, having never been an RV’er, I may very well be now! Thx Meyers!

Worked with a young woman at the dealership to purchase a new Grand Design 311BHS. She was very attentive and had good customer service skills but didn't know much about the camper business as she was new to her position. When I had to work with their sales manager Mike, I had one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a sales person. He was rude, condescending, slow on following up with us, demanding and so many other awful traits. At one point he told me that Wilkins, who we were also shopping with was never going to come through on their offer, and was totally trash talking them. We bought our first camper through Meyer's, we pick up our new 311BHS from Wilkins next week, and for about 3 grand less than what Meyers wanted us to pay.

Worst customer service, especially parts department. They know their are few places to take your camper but repairs or parts are poor at best
