Dr. Hutchinson is extremely knowledgeable, warm, and has a sense of humor, which is delightful in a provider. Most important is trusting his expertise and I do.

Dr Hutchinson is a very good neurologist. Very knowledgeable and he is aware of the most recent research in his field. Probably because he still does serious research. Most doctors dont keep abreast of the cutting edge research done in their fields. Thats why most have outdated notions of a lot of things. Dr Hutchinson listens to the patients and explains his thought process clearly. He has helped me a lot. Its a pity that he is retiring to concentrate more on his research.

Wonderful doctor who knows how to treat your ailment. If you need additional help, he’s always ready to treat that too.

If you've ever seen the show, House. THAT is Dr. Hutchinson. It's been a long, agonizing year, trying to figure out how, at 31 years old I can sleep for days at a time. I did sleep studies, had blood drawn, went to cardiologists, endocrinologists, was prescribed Zoloft for "depression, " you name it. Today was the first day, I saw a glimmer of hope at the end of a very long, dark tunnel. Dr. Hutchinson took actual TIME with me, got to know me, my symptoms, and put the pieces of the puzzle together to come up with a course of action, not just based on his opinion, but grounded in research and facts. He looked at me as a whole person, and not just a sum and total of random symptoms. He found the interconnectedness of my issues, and wove them together like a master seamstress. I'm finally feeling hopeful again, that I can potentially regain my life as a typical 30-something! When I first experienced symptoms nearly eight years ago I asked my primary physician for recommendations. When I first saw Dr Hutchinson, he walked me through a series of tests in the office and arranged for a brain scan. He showed me the telltale signs of my condition, provided a possible prognosis and described current Parkinson's research at the time.
Dr Hutchinson prescribed the standard medication and added others. Where there are various medications that work in similar ways he has explained the actions of each and adjusted my treatment as conditions changed, sometimes trying new or older meds. He wants to know how you are doing. My symptoms are visable motor functions, others are not. Through observation and an exchange of questions and answers, he helped me continue to work for another seven years and retire with dignity from a full time position. I can spend more time exercising my mind and body, doing what I can. Thanks Dr Hutchinson!
