Craft Store Michaels reviews
18Is as advertised pretty much what i saw on the website was in the store. No surprises a decent place to buy Crafts.
Good art supply store that has everything from knitting/crocheting to doll making and candle making supplies. Wide assortment of decorations for every holiday, too.
Everything there is absolutely amazing it was my first time going to a Michaels Great customer service they did everything in their power to make sure I walked out with a discount I spent almost $100 there anyway lol
Know exactly what you want and where to find it because it's like no one works there. Or, find and press the tiny red button for assumed assistance, the button is placed every five hundred feet.
Make sure to get the coupons. Prices and sales are pretty good too if you can catch a promotion. Lots of people shop here but they keep the line moving at the cash registers.
Michaels is the ultimate craft store, totally a one stop store where you can find limitless craft supplies.
If you want to make something, you will probably find the materials here. Recently, I had a ten to think about maybe fiddling with my old high school hobby of crochet. I wandered into the yarn section and was overwhelmed with the quantity and kinds and colors of yarn there at what I thought were reasonable prices. I almost sank down and made nest of yarn, but good sense prevailed and I just bought 5 skeins of this really cool blue stuff, which is still sitting in the closet.
Very helpful staff. I showed up looking for some specific items and ideas for other items. The staff was very knowledgeable about where to find what I needed and what I could use to solve the problem I had. There was an issue with part of the store being inaccessible due to a flood. Over all excellent service!
Restrooms were out of order. I came in soaked due to a rainstorm & was told to go to Trader Joe's restrooms to dry off. Also part of the store is closed off due to construction - items there are not accessible. I abandoned my cart & walked out after 15 minutes, as I was unable to purchase the items I specifically came there for. My worst trip there ever!
I got lost in all craft stuff and prices aren't bad. I was surprised about there supply or should I say lack of chocolate molds varieties.that would be none.
A massive store with good selection for hand crafts, but not too many service staff can be found on the floor.
Great store for your arts and crafts needs. Large space, beautifully lit, much to see, a vast number of project supplies are kept in stock, and more available for delivery upon request. They also provide rooms for instruction. Classes are held by staff or can be scheduled and reserved by outside teachers.
Love Michael's my wife takes forever in this place she always goes in for one project and get a bunch of other things for future projects ugh. But still love the store.
This place stay a mess! Management is rude AF! Lines stay long and nothing is ever where it suppose to be. Why? It’s not that big. I’m not too sure why it’s constantly looking crazy. If more staff is needed. Hire! If you have the staff, give them hours! What the hell!? !? !?
If you need arts and craft supplies in midtown Manhattan this is the place to go. It is amazing that right in the middle of this metropolis there is such a large and well-stocked arts and crafts store covering so many different angles. If I could give it six stars out of five I would. Also the staff are very friendly and helpful
Not the biggest Michael's but it still has basically everything you could be looking for. I got a bunch of planner stuff and some paints to paint a board and even some calligraphy pens and ink and everything was pretty reasonably priced. There are also always coupons and the staff is pretty good about letting you know when there are ones you should look up which is super nice of them. Also their clearance section had a bunch of cool stuff in it.
Small selection for a Michael's location.the Michael's locations in Manhattan have a much greater selection on every aisle in every Department. Not to knock this Michael's too hard though, considering it is the only true art supply store in the vicinity aside from the art store on Court Street (South of Atlantic Ave) and the Jewish run Office Supply store on Court Street (North of Atlantic Ave)
