Michael's on Main, New City NY

Me & MY Boyfriend went to Michael's on Main tonight for out Birthdays the 4th & 5th. Rosie was our waitress, she was wonderful, smiling Always making sure we were OK & had everything we needed. We love Michael's ON Main especially on MONDAYS (PRIME RIB SPECIAL IT COMES WITH EVERTHING! APPETIZERS FOR BOTH OF US THE MAIN MEAL, SALAD & Bread. THEN TO TOP IT OFF COFFEE & DESSERT. It's was an amazing Dinner we both enjoyed it

Had an amazing dining experience here. Everything we ordered was delicious and our service was top notch. I recommend the lamb lollipops and stuffed artichoke but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The only constructive feedback I would give is that the interior design leaves a lot to the imagination.

Excellent top-tier food every single time I have eaten there. The service is impeccable. Jenny went the extra mile to ensure our meal was the best experience ever. Pricier than run-of-the-mill restaurants, and worth every penny. Fine dining for adults. It's a great place for a romantic dinner, special occasion or business lunch or dinner. Parking is a little tight at times. I haven't eaten a bad meal ever and have tried different dishes each time I've gone. Dependable for its top-flight food and service always.

Great food, great bar, friendly service. I had the prix fixe shrimp cocktail, lamb chops and rice pudding. Looking forward to going back.

The atmosphere is wonderful. So glad they expanded their space. A couple of things need to be addressed when you’re spending $70 a piece on dinner. One the bus boy should never remove a plate when all others are still eating. Two don’t remove bread plates before you’ve eaten you meal. Three, Some of us had the pre fix but our server never offered tea or coffee, 4 one meal was skimpy another over cooked. All and all food was good and server was polite but management needs to correct these issues. It’s not profession.

We have been going regularly and never a bad meal. Service is great. Reservations a must. Definitely worth going.

Very disappointing experience tonight. My husband and I had 7: 30 reservations. Our waitress didn’t even get to our table to take our drink/food order until 8. Our dinner didn’t come until 9, and when it finally arrived it was really nothing special. I had the penne vodka but it was more like a chunky vodka sauce with a sprinkling of pasta in it. My husband had the chicken parm; unfortunately the chicken was gamey and chewy. Really not worth the visit in our opinion. We won’t be back, but hopefully this review catches the eye of some major decision-makers in the restaurant. If this was my restaurant, I’d be ashamed.
