Stay was great. Staff great. Rooms need just a bit of TLC. Informed already planned for. Look forward to staying again.

The location is what makes this a great place. There are places to eat you can walk to. We liked Original Steve's for breakfast and Falafel Aleppo for dinner.

Rooms are clean. Beds are comfortable and offer a soft pillow and a firm pillow to choose from. Our room was missing some linens when we checked in. The front desk staff provided the linens quickly. The breakfast area is nice. It is also a nice place to eat dinner if you get takeout.

Room is cute and small be we only stayed for 2 days so no biggy on our end, and clean! Zoey at the front counter who checked us in was super nice 9/10 would stay here again

Located in a quiet area, even though it is a small Inn, it offers the best complimentary breakfast with a lot of various items to choose from, especially the self-help fresh-made pancake, boil egg with shell off, yogurt, bagel with cream cheese, The staff cleans the common area very frequently. Also, they clean each room thoughtfully and change all the bedding. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Easy travel to downtown Rochester and Ontario Beach Park, take only 15 min. My family will come back again and highly recommended it.

There was smell of weed in whole hotel, room was not cleaned, will definitely not recommend this hotel

Overall it was okay. We had a major problem with the shower and all they did was move our room after 10pm. What a major inconvenience, and there was no compensation for our inconvenience

We stayed at Microtel for 4 nights. We has a great staying experience. The place is very clean. I usually clean it the time when I checked in. I wiped around the bed area, the table, washroom and the bay window area, the wipes were not turning black. It proved that they did a great job cleaning it before we checked in. I like the bed cover too, as i know they change and wash it every time. The room itself is not big to move around for three, as we did bring a dog and bikes. Next time we come again we would get a connected rooms. The place located is convenitence to walmart, target, dollarstore, wegmans.etc. It also has a gym room, the equipments and the room are well maintained and clean regularly. It also has wipes and sprays for our use. It also provide morning breakfast from 6am to 10pm. The breakfast is self servie with coffee, pancakes, bagels, yogurts, fruit cups etc. There are also venting machines to buy snack. I also want to mention that the cleaning team is very dedicated to make sure the place is clean. They clean the floor regularly, also later at night. I also see a lady that wipe the doornobe of the rooms, elevator, public washroom, the breakfast tables regularly. The only thing I notice as I entered from the back door. It was quite dark at night. The light there either didnt turn on or was out. I was scared by people standing there smoking in the dark while i took my dog out for a walk. All the staffs are very polite, friendly and work with a smile. I want to say the whole team is very dedicated to their positions. Please keep the work ethics. The carpet was disgusting. I would rather walk on the cement outside. Very gross. The internet was awful. The male african american kid front desk attendant was not friendly and did not care that we had no internet even though we pay for that. The place smelled like marijuana many times. 2 weeks before we came into town i tried calling the front desk to ask a question and there was no answer any day no matter what time or day i called. I called reservations to have them help and they said there were probably busy and did not care. I called reservations a different day and finally got a person who was nice and got a hold of front desk for me. We talked to the manager after leaving a message for him to call us back (he never did) and he never did anything to accomidate us at all. All in all the carpet was the worst most sickning part. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone ever and will not return.

Hotel is clean and well maintained. Very polite staff. Easy 10 minute drive to RIT. There's an excellent coffee shop (Leaf & Bean) within a short walk.

The hotel is hidden from the main road in a very quiet location. Nevertheless there are some essential stores very close at a walking distance. The hotel itself extremely well maintained and clean. To our surprise there was an excellent gym as well. The room is pretty small and the laptop table in our room was pretty far from the power outlet that made it difficult to use the laptop. I had an extension cord so was able to work around. Overall we really liked the hotel and would definitely return there if in the area

The room was clean. The staff friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was adequate with quite a few options. Free coffee 24/7. Had to improvise to stay Keto. But the options were there, which was great!

The room was clean and sanitized. Desk personnel were courteous and friendly. 'Breakfast' was coffee, juice and mostly muffins. Nothing hot. Our room was missing the luggage rack and the ironing board.

We ask to change rooms for ours was to small and we were accommodated without any problems the staff was kind and understanding

The hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful and helpful at all times, after reading some of these other reviews i have determined people expect to much from a simple hotel, if you want full service staff and a 5 course breakfast go stay at a Hilton or somewhere they offer that, no where does it say the breakfast is full continental, be happy they offer breakfast, as someone that stays in hotels quite often most are not even offering any type of breakfast anymore. I think the management and staff at this hotel is amazing and they go above and beyond what i feel a simple hotel should. Also side note for the lady who booked with priceline and claimed she didn't get the room she expected NEXT TIME DONT BOOK WITH A 3RD PARTY SERVICE OR READ THE FINE PRINTE.i imagine you were extremely rude to the staff for a mistake they had nothing to do with.

Room was well prepared and was off of the road so noise was not a problem. Breakfast bar was not up to par but they were training someone new so we'll see.

Good price.clean room. Rooms are smaller than average which is why it's a microtel. I had a queen bed. Simple room came with mini fridge, and toiletries. No weird smells or stains on sheets or towels. This place is hard to find since there sign is not lit up. It's near a McDonald's and behind vavoline and a bank. My GPS was nOt able to find it so I had to call the hotel and I was down the street in another plaza.

This microtel is located behind a bank in North Chili NY. But it was easy to find, (I live local so technically finding it was cheating because I already knew.) Room was clean. No odors or weird smells. The ac worked wonderfully. I had a fridge, coffee pot and a microwave. The website didn't list a microwave so this was a surprise bonus. Nice sized tv with cable TV. Ice bucket. Bathroom was wheelchair accessable. Free shampoo, conditioner, hand sanitizer. The free breakfast was a good selection. Cereals, muffins, bagels, strudels, breakfast sandwiches. In the cooler there was also grape juice, water, milk, yogurt. There was a machine for various juices, coffee, tea. And also machine on a little conveyor belt, you can make and watch your own pancake going down the conveyor belt cooking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. And there was a luggage cart that you could use to take your things from your car to your room. There is a gas station across the street. Also really close is a McDonald's, Taco bell, Subway sandwiches, Wendy's, pizza places, restaurants, and coffee shops. If you needed something from a department store very close by there is a Wegmans grocery store, next door to Wegmans is also a Target. And across the street from the Target and Wegmans is a dollar store, Aldi's, Big lots, and an urgent care center for emergencies.
Since I live very local to this establishment I do know that it is a safe neighborhood.
This location is about 15 to 20 minutes away from RIT college, University of Rochester, and Roberts Wesleyan college. So if you need to go for someone's graduation this is a very close place to stay. Price was reasonable. And overall I highly recommend.

Very quiet hotel and easy parking. 2 floors so I and out is a breeze. The side doors didn't seem to work w the keys provided so only front entrance is used but can exit thru the others.

Hotel was decent. Cleaning service was good. Breakfast was ok, although they ran out of multiple items and we needed to continually ask for replenishments multiple times (juice, yogurt, maple syrup, oatmeal, fruit, etc.). They actually ran out of maple syrup, even though they have a pancake machine, so had to improvise with just butter. But I don’t think it should be hard for the staff to monitor breakfast items like every 15-30 mins, to ensure proper inventory for guests.

The tv in our room also had some dead pixels which created a line while watching tv.
