My mom loved this place 40 years ago when she first lived in NYC. On a recent trip back she wanted to go back and she was not disappointed. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. The soap was loaded with seafood (mostly seemed like different fish and some shrimps). No fishy smell. The shared tables are a bit weird but funny how it actually worked out and she ended up talking to other older ladies who joined us the only reason why I didnt give it 5 stars it’s because there was a pesky fly around the whole time.
