Mid-City Security Services Inc, Corona NY

Mid-City Security does nothing to help you and everything to hurt you. I've lived in Lefrak city for over 10 years and have been an upstanding citizen and tenant of the complex, but Mid-City doesn't care about that, they only care about getting their laughs over the misfortune of the tenants of the Lefrak City Apartment complex. I have had a parking spot in Garage B for as long as I could remember and have never had any issues. Recently I lost my vehicle in a car crash. I acquired a new car, parking in the current spot that I have paid for for over 5 years. When I returned back to the car I found that I have been booted. They stated that the car not having a sticker was the reason it was booted. No one called and complained about being in the spot because it was I who parked there. They did nothing to check with me if I parked there or not. When I confronted the SGT in charged he stated that there was nothing he could do to help me, even tho it is them who put it on and take it off. He forced me to pay $30 to then take it off themselves. They EXTORTED me. Instead of being courteous and realizing it was a mistake and miscommunication, they required $30 to take off the boot from the spot that I pay monthly for. This is outrageous and an injustice. They did not show any remorse and blamed me for their indiscretion.

This was not the first time that they could not help me. During the renovation of my current garage I was transferred to a new location, the person who parked next to me would constantly park over the line and made it extremely difficult for me to park in my temporary spot. I requested the assistance of Mid-City Security and they did nothing. Told me tough luck. I think that maybe the person parking over his line in a spot would maybe require a boot but they said no there was nothing they could do. So tell me I get boot for parking in my spot but someone can't get a boot for parking over their line.

These two experiences are a joke. I encourage people express themselves about this company who think of nothing but they're own profit. They do nothing to enhance the safety of the Lefrak City tenants and everything to frustrate and enrage us. Not one individual wanted to help and took both these events as a joke. I called Lefrack Security to report kids smoking weed in the stairway. The lady who took the phone call was extremely rude. She didn’t even wait to hear what I was saying before hanging up. They need better customer service and better security guards.

Very unprofessional! They should fire the receptionist! And I don’t think they do their job well also coz why would somebody get a letter saying we did a questionable conduct when we didn’t, and have never done anything like that.why don’t you do your job and find out who is drilling and hammering in their apartment before sending out letters based on some random people’s report? I would know if I drilled and hammered in my apartment, not you! I cannot believe they do this! Get a life and do your job.
