Leora from Midas is our property manager @ 362 w 30th st. Really awful with maintenance and repairs. Front door lock broke and went 15 days open and unfixed. Leak reported February still not addressed in October. Frequent loss of heat and hot water that isn’t promptly addressed. Broken stair rail that fell on a tenant. Truly awful management.

Lived on one of their properties on and off for the last 22 years. It's four walls in the Bronx so it's slightly better than outside. However, the owner is ridiculously cheap and negligent with the infrastructure and the maintenance of his properties. To the point that residents have been harmed due to collapsing ceilings and unstable stairs.

We passed a special milestone since our transition to Midas from the previous management company - one full year. Thank you all for your kindness in assisting with this transition and into formal operations with Midas. We grew tremendously because of your expertise, resources and dedication to service excellence. The prudent financial advise of Midas enabled Reservoir Oval Condominium to reverse its momentum from stagnation to building sufficient reserves for capital improvements. Complex projects are planned and executed professionally while results are maintained to the highest standard of quality. The property management team is hands on, patient and professional enough to remain unmoved by difficulties. Our experience with all staff members personify the vision, mission and values of the company - care, consciousness and commitment. Today, we look to a brighter secure future of continuous improvements and added value to the condominium due to effective management.

My co-op board went through a rigorous process of selecting a new management company several years ago and we chose Midas. I was very happy with their services that I recommended Midas to my other building of which I am also a board member and we also hired them after interviewing other property management companies. Michael Padernacht and his team have helped get our finances in order and recommended ways in which we could save money. They also uncovered money that was due back to the co-op and if Michael had not been on top of things, we could’ve missed that. They have a proactive approach to management and solving issues and have led our board meetings with laser focus so that our time is productively spent. They are very responsive when issues arise and are communicative and transparent, which is so important. An added bonus is that Michael and his team are all so pleasant and helpful to deal with, which is a breath of fresh air after my past experiences with property management companies. On December 29,2020 the heating plant malfunctioned and there was carbon monoxide in the walls. Con Edison turned the heating plant off. MANAGEMENT TURNED IT BACK ON WITHOUT REPAIRING it. On January 2,2021 the FDNY turned off system again due to carbon monoxide leak. We are without heat or hot water and have been told it will be days before it can be fixed. Unqualified, unlicensed repair staff

Best place to manage my apartment. They always answer the phone, always have an answer. They make sure that want needs to be done is done

This Company has been around for decades, Where should I start they mean what they say and they stand by their word, we do business together from time to time, they work with you in every aspect, but again you have to understand their position they look for the best of their customer and as a businessman I respect that, they'll negotiate with you to their terms and if you meet what they look for it your money will be guaranteed with them, I worked with them in few projects and it went smoth all the time. Just got to be fair with them.

Glad I picked them to rent one of their apartment, their apartments are clean, my daughter broke the faucet and they manage to send me someone to repair the faucet leak right away, they keep the building clean and hot in winter with small kids i've had heating issue at my other place that's why I left very responsive management company.

As a tenant of one of the properties managed by Midas I am extremely happy with their customer service. Maria has been a huge help and responds to any issue in a timely manner. Her professionalism and willingness to help is very much appreciated!

Midas has been managing our property for the past three years. The owner Michael and his hard-working team have been an instrumental part in the advancement of our complex. They have taken our dreams and aspirations and put them into a reality. Not only in day-to-day administrative and on site projects but also in preparing and setting forth our future goals. I am the president of a big condominium complex on the water in the Throgs neck section of the Bronx. The bond that has formed between the condominium board and the management is unique. We hash out issues concentrate on follow up and deliver excellence to the residence like this complex has never seen before. I live overseas and inherited a building in the Bronx in 2014 which I wanted to hold onto.   I went online and did my research and chose Midas Mgmt after speaking to Michael and five other firms.   He and his staff helped me transition from the previous mgmt in a remarkably smooth process despite the logistics of me being in Greece and a hostile previous manager.   My tenants are much happier with the new management as his employees are professional and respond quickly to repairs or issues that arise, and I am thrilled as the rentroll and care of the building have increased substantially under Michael and his team's management.   They have helped me through the difficult processes of refinancing the loan on the property and keeping all the NYC housing and section 8 paperwork up to date which I was clueless about.   Thank you and keep up the good work guys!

From the Board Member’s perspective (and after horrendous past experiences), Midas has been a great company to work with (last 2 years). They continually provide the Board with accurate professional recommendations (ex.presented several project bids with pros and cons) and help carrying out the policies and decisions. They also handle the shareholders requests in a professional and speedy manner. Our building has been assigned with a dedicated team, that is familiar with its needs and problems. Most importantly, the management is transparent with any project they take on: from a small repair to a major renovation of an entrance. They clearly communicate each step and do not “ambush” Board Members with unanticipated expenses; on quite contrary they have been lowering building costs systematically. The management is transparent with mistakes (if any occur) and provides quick and precise solutions.
The atmosphere in Midas’ office is always friendly and welcoming. Our Building’s business is appreciated and valued.

I am a shareholder and Board member for close to three years in a building managed by Midas. Over that time, I have come to appreciate the hard work that Midas does to keep our building operating smoothly. Michael and his team are responsive and are skilled at prioritizing the various needs of the cooperative. When there are concerns expressed, the team responds effectively. For example, one of our priorities is to contain rising costs for our shareholders. With that goal in mind, Midas worked to find solutions so we could meet our budgetary goals while addressing necessary maintenance and repairs.
