Middletown Tri-State Eye

Cancelled my follow up appointment over a year ago after my diagnosis was wrong and over a year later I still get a letter stating I missed my appointment.

I would give zero stars if I could. Most unprofessional front desk staff, billing department, and doctor I have EVER worked with. The Dr was actually nice but I saw her 4 different times and she couldn’t diagnose me correctly. After lots of research I found out my diagnoses myself. Do not recommend.

Update: after the reply from the office, I’m now even more concerned considering they replied they don’t have a female doctor. Then I’m not sure what “doctor” they let me see 4 times but she was definitely a female and I know I don’t have the wrong practice. 75 Crystal Run Rd in Middletown

Delightful staff. Dr. Guerriero is professional, thorough and kind (three qualities I really appreciate in a doctor).

So I see the negative reviews but it doesn’t seem that those patients had cataract surgery like I did with Dr. Palydowycz. He came highly recommended by my optometrist specifically for cataract surgery. I could barely see before I had the surgery. I couldn’t drive at night, I could barely use a computer or see my phone or do much of anything without a lot of effort. The day after I had my first eye done and they took the patch off, I was completely amazed. I’d never seen so crisply in my life. A couple weeks later, I had the other eye fixed, and it was absolutely the best thing I’ve ever done. You don’t realize how bad your vision is until they fix it. Dr. Palydowycz is extremely concise and to the point and I personally liked that about him. I don’t need sugarcoating, I just want the facts and what to expect and he is extremely clear and explains everything very well in a way you understand. Anyway, long story short… He did a great job, my vision is a million times better than it was and I didn’t have any complications. I would recommend this office a billion times over.

Top photo is a few minutes after the patch was removed the day after surgery. The bottom pic is the same eye approx 3 hours later. The redness and watery eye dissipated very quickly, and I healed extremely fast.

Horrible and rude front desk staff.tried simply calling to make an apt as a first time patient and barbara and the other receptionist were extremely no compassion and ppl skills.i simply wanted to know the process of setting up an apt as i have a bad eye injury and need to see an ophthalmologist and was put on hold was never asked my name but what insurance and was told we dont do workers comp so did u hurt your eye @ work? Extremely just off putting and if this is how they treat a potential new client over the phone i can only imagine the business ethics.a simple hello how r u let me check our schedule and can i have some information from you would have sufficed.kindness goes a long way.word of mouth does to.the receptionist in milford with a lot nicer and easy to talk to but i dont feel comfortable visiting any of these offices after my experience with the reception in middletown

Tried to make an appointment. Receptionist was not helpful and rude. Was referred by my GP.

Excellent, courteous and wait time minimal. Receptionist pleasant and checked all the paper work. Sue did an exceptional job sitting me up to see Dr. Ross. 5 stars for Dr. Ross. Thank you

I recently had laser eye surgery and the doctor was Dr. Ross at Tri-State Eye in Middletown, New York
Dr. Ross was so experienced and knowledgeable the procedure was done quickly and easily

I get appointments yearly, to check both of my eyes, the doctor is very nice, she checks everything needs to be check, last week i missed my appointment cause i totally forgot, i never got any call or a tex message reminding my appointment, so i called to reschedule the missed appointment, they gave 6 moths for a new appointment, i aked the lady on the phone why so long for a new appointment, she said because i missed an appointment, she wasn’t nice at all, she said it was my fault to not get a reminding notice cause I never provided a phone number.
