Mil Mundos offers a fantastic variety of language sessions. I took the 6 week course "Heritage Beginner Spanish Sessions". The instructor was very compassionate, thorough, patient, engaging, and made the classes super fun and interesting. My favorite elements were the projects the instructor Anhelo gave us, like translating the lyrics to cool songs. I thoroughly recommend Mil Mundos classes to everyone. Easily the best money I spent all year.

As a person of Caribbean descent who was not taught the language by my spanish-speaking parent, it was always very difficult for me to work up the confidence to speak in public. I’m soooo glad I found Mil Mundos and their heritage Spanish classes. Anhelo was my instructor and they were so affirming and thoughtful in their teaching. We used media that was relevant and fun to learn new vocabulary and common phrases. I felt a lot more confidence after that class, and speak more in public now. I’ve now taken two Spanish classes here, both with Anhelo, and I’d love to take another class with them in the future to keep practicing. I highly recommend any of Mil Mundos’ classes for speakers who grew up around the language and understand, but need a little boost and encouragement to become more fluent.

Great curation, always find something good to read. They have free, used and new books available. And Spanish lessons! All around great place, great community connection.

Such a good selection! Super cozy, the staff is bilingual and patient. I definitely want to come back and get more books.
