Cafe Milk Bar reviews
6Great food and I've always loved the place but can at all be done about the crazy amount of BEES outside? I mean I know are good for the environment BUT the entire time I was eating my food, I was terrified it's gonna fly into my mouth
Came in to get a coffee. I ordered an iced mocha. It was excellent! Service was good and the drink was prepared quickly. I would recommend getting coffee from here.
FYI, they are cash or Venmo only.
Avoid this place. This (see picture) is what I got for $28 and change spent: a mediocre cold brew with not enough ice (if you read the reviews below, they are counting the ice cubes now apparently!) and a tiny overly salty sandwich with absolutely nothing special or distinctive about it. We all know eggs are more expensive now etc etc, for $28 you’d think you could get a tomato slice or hell even a little side salad with your tiny breakfast sandwich. Nope. At least at a place like Russ & Daughters you walk out feeling happy you spent $50 on breakfast.
Corner deli quality for Michelin Star prices. Not sure how this place remains open.
The saddest part is how the workers know what a scam it is and yet they have to smile as they rob you blind. My waitress literally avoided looking at me as she set the pitiful plate on my table.
5 star service! 5 star food! 1 star toilet paper! Come on guys. Stop being so cheap and shell out for that double ply.
I dropped my cat off at the groomers and then had time to kill so I took a walk and wandered over to my old neighborhood and marveled at how much all the shops/restaurants had changed. (I haven't made it over here in probably a decade.) The guy who took my order was very personable. I ordered an avocado toast with an egg. It was very good as was the coffee. I sat in the window which was great for people-watching. There could be 1 fewer chair at the window area, though, as it's a bit cramped when people sit down next to you. I would come back here if over by this way, again.
