Milk Bar Upper West Side reviews
13Not the cheapest ice cream sundae you can get! But it worth an experience if you have a sweet tooth! Definitely get the cookies! It so delicious and soft. I heard great things about the cakes but haven't tried it yet!
Workers were super friendly but tbh the ice cream was so overly sweet and there was so much cereal! The cookie was so delicious tho!
Finally tried milk bar's soft serve with cereal. It’s good and refreshing, but definitely a little overrated. It was saltier than expected and made me super thirsty.
We were visiting NYC from Texas for Thanksgiving. I had heard about MILK on the Today show and my family with four kids ranging from 15 down to 8 decided to give it a try. Big mistake. $50 later we had half of four very different desserts ending up in the trash after one bite and the remaining ones saying it was not great. It was overly sweet with a taste of sweet and low. The owners of MILK may need to come to the South and discover what a good dessert tastes like in both texture and level of sweetness. When kids say a dessert is disgusting, you should probably listen to the criticism. Try something else as it does not live up to the hype.
I only tried the ice cream and the strawberry shortcake from here. This place is overpriced and overrated. It cost $10 for a tiny slice that was not even baked in house. The cake was dense, dry, and overly sweet. The milk and peanut cereal ice cream was better, but still $10 for a small cup of soft serve with corn flakes on top. Might as well stick to getting soft serve at McDonald's and cake from Burger King.
I came here with my family and got a 3 cookies and 3 drinks. Two out of the three cookies were disgusting between the lack of flavor and the texture being almost stale and chewy. All three drinks were nasty. The cider latte tasted like caramel that went bad. The cereal milk latte tasted like espresso that went stale and it wasn’t sweet at all. The hot chocolate tasted like warm milk with no chocolate at all. I will not be coming back.
Why would you need to make cakes soooooooo sweet? Very disappointing. They could have used half the sugar to make this birthday cake and it would have tasted 1000% better!
A great experience for sure. Great menu, lovely service. Its a little small but comfy if you dont mind getting close to people. The cake and milkshake were DELICIOUS for sure!
Mediocre. We were so excited to try Milk Bar, but were disappointed to find that it was prepackaged cookies and pies. Most bakeries that expand and go big scale lose their quality. Sadly, this seems to be the case for Milk Bar. R. I. P.
This was the least nice of the Milk bars I've been to. The windows were super dirty, the small shop wreaked of bleach, and the signage was tacky and looked old. Not what we expected of Milk Bar, but I'm giving them 4 stars because my sister loves them and we both loved the cereal milk latte.
Have wanted to go to a Milk Bar for ages and this one didn’t disappoint. The cereal milk soft serve was fab
It was a cute place, the workers were super nice and enthusiastic! Kind of expensive and I didn’t like the cakes that much…you can only really eat a few bites it like lasts for days it’s just really sweet and heavy. The person I went with said the ice cream was pretty good though just also super sweet and kind of heavy. The slices are cute though
I walked 20 min to Milk Bar. I made it there 20 min before closed. They told me all ice cream machines were not working!
