Mille-feuille Bakery Cafe reviews
16 I placed an online order because I was short on time. I arrive at the time for pick up. The shop doesn't have a clear space for pickup so I just got on the line (what I was trying to avoid) When I finally am getting assisted, my order isn't even prepared so I wait not too long but again.what I was trying to avoid.
I then get the wrong item.
I think best practices is to assign someone the task of checking online orders or temporarily shut it down if shop is too busy which it was this morning.
Cute little cafe. For the price of in the UWS is reasonable if you live in that area. But to me is a bit expensive. Cappuccino is strong and acidic. Its not my cup of Cappuccino. Its not smooth and has an after taste.
Best macarons I've ever had. Good coffee too but loved the baked goods. Tiny place but just grab and go. Worth it!
You can take this place off your must vist list in NYC. I went today over there. I noted, no line, which is unusually. After I tasted almond crossant (price went up, now it is 5.25$), I got why line disappear. Taste was so so. Not like use to be. Looks like new managment or baker not familiar with art of bakery.
Too bad, another great place are done.
Ordered a cappuccino, 9 minutes later the person who took my order had no recollection of me placing the order, even after I showed the charge on my phone. The cappuccino was then made with a horrible espresso pull and too much milk. Really terrible experience.
Slow service, blueberries financier was not cooked properly, still way too raw inside and prices are frankly quite high for pastries (and I am French)
The almond croissant-warmed- was the best croissant of my life…so delicious. The matcha latte with almond milk was perfect with no sugar. Friendly service at the Broadway location.
Ok.the space is small and a bit cramped.but we weren't there to dilly dally.the sandwiches on baguette were just terrific. The ham was top notch quality and plentiful. I went in for 1 and took home 3! Bravo!
Mediocre at best. I got a plain croissant and an almond croissant. The plain croissant was flavorless and stale. The best part of the almond croissant was the powdered sugar on top.
Great experience. All of the staff seem to speak French. The line can be long but seems to move pretty quickly
Coffee and plain croissant were great, but croissant with meat was hot outside but frozen inside
Un service irréprochable et d une extrême gentillesse. Pâtisseries et viennoiseries excellentes comme en France. A faire absolument.
This place needs some help.
While staff was friendly the products were disappointing. Latte taste like water and baked products have no character - likely frozen.
The interior could also use some help.
Great service at the counter and they had someone cleaning around the shop. I enjoyed my chocolate croissant and chai latte for less than $10 total. Would come here again.
Horrible over time endless does not stop! I am so sorry I have to write this! It was my favorite restaurant! Orders always cancelled with lies the items are not available but when check the shop is full. Last time today “a driver lady did” who was not understandable. She was telling me something was not available would not substitute. Why would delivery people call about it? Trying to call did not help, they did not pick up. Later a male delivery boy kept knocking loud on my door he would not stop. Very painful restaurant.
I love this place. They have good bread and pastries! Reminds me of the type of baking quality they have in Europe. Which is hard to find in NYC. Mounia is just the loveliest person ever. She is a Light! That makes everything taste even better.
