Don’t be fooled by the name Hilton. They got nothing to do with hospitality. Lobby smells, bad enough that you rather not sit there. During your stay there is no room service, no house keeping and the fridge in the room is not available either. You do get a bed to sleep.

Filthy hotel. A persistent smell like that of vomit lingers through the hotel lobby and in the hallways. Others with me noticed it and at first we worried one of us stepped in vomit. But when you wake up, take a shower, and walk out of your room to the whiff of vomit smell, you realize—yep, it’s the hotel. Other reviewers notice it too and some surmise it is from mildew.

This hotel clearly suffers from a case of the hotel not putting sufficient funds into housekeeping and upkeep. The carpets throughout the hotel are dirty and stained.
Especially avoid at all costs if staying for business. The hotel is swamped with the chaos of children making noise, babies crying, and tour groups clogging every inch of the small lobby.

This was my first time staying here and it was great. You have access to everything you need in NYC ride out the front door.

To start many Hilton’s in the city partner with garages for at least a slight discount, this one does not. They talk about a restaurant and they only offer a meager breakfast no other meal. The room was not maintained well, bubbles in the ceiling, dirt on the walls, stained up very carpets, dust all over light bulbs, the person who stayed before us cover the smoke detector and they never removed it (yup a fire hazard) and they also covered the sprinkler system. The front desk staff could learn from the other local Hilton’s for customer service and how to be polite to the guests, especially the Diamond members. I almost feel like this should be a $59 a night motel with all of these issues.
They don’t ask for vax cards or enforce masks like many of the other places around. It’s just sad they call this place a Hilton, even the bell hops are not responsive. They would rather stay inside vs.coming out to be helpful for the guests. I guess since it’s so much, it’s a management issue. Very sad.

The hotel gets the job done. The restaurant and bar are closed, but that is understandable, due to COVID. The hotel is located near multiple subway stops and wall street, which is convenient. Room was okay there were some cigarette burns on the carpet and one of the light fixtures was broken. Overall pretty decent hotel for the price.

Bad experience. 1st room smelled like cigarettes. Switched rooms and in the 2nd one, the lights and TV didn't work. They sent an engineer and fixed it. However the actual room (furniture, upholstery, carpet, bathroom) is gross. The on-site restaurant is closed and so is the parking. Not worth over $200 a day.

Definitely needs major updating, only 1 outlet worked in the whole room. Looked like beat up dorm room furniture.

I sincerely enjoyed my stay and would love to return on my next trip to New York. The views are amazing, I felt blessed to be facing the imprint of The North Tower (as a 9/11 survivor it was nostalgic), Oculus and so much more! Wanting to thank the front desk staff for their attention to our needs regardless of the time.

I am literally writing this review to save the WORLD from the absolute worst hotel EVER. Conrad Hilton himself is likely rolling in the grave from everything that is wrong with this hotel. Rooms are dirty and outdated. Additionally, everything is broken or simply old. Room key stopped working several times. There were gnats in my room, and the staff can care less about customer service. Going forward I will recommend to my company and any other organization that has offices at the World Trade Center to never put their employees on these accommodations. If they even suggest it, please tell them to MOVE ON! I will be letting my whole organization know to NEVER book a room here. Everything was absolutely disgusting!

I stayed on night on September 4-5. For the price that I paid I was hoping for a little bite more and for the hotel to be nicer! The reason for this reading is because when I stayed at the facility the customer service was exceptional people at the front desk were very helpful and nice. However, once they gave me the key to my room and I got on that elevator, it was literally down hill from there! The elevator that was on the b-side of the hotel was very scary to say the least. The elevator needs major maintenance down. The elevator ride was so rocky, I felt as though I was on and old roller coaster. Once we arrived to our rooms, the smell was very strange, the Oder was horrible, it had to be coming from the carpet or the old furniture that was in the room. I was very uncomfortable and scared to walk on the carpet because of the mess and the carpet looked very old! The hotel is just very out to date and just needs more work. Once again the staff was excellent however, I will not stay there again!

Do not stay here! The lobby and halls smell weird. The furniture, carpets and wallpaper are dirty, stained and worn. In my room the phone, safe and both nightstand lamps didn't work. When I tried to charge my cell phone in a wall outlet I received an electrical shock. My room still had items left by the previous occupant. Staff were indifferent.

I was in town for the 2021 Five Boro Ride which was postponed a week due to hurricane Henri. Didn't originally plan to stay at this hotel but switched my reservation. Unfortunately they were not bike friendly and I was unaware. They have an outdoor garage with an attendant where you can stow your bike. As an avid Crit and Road racer this is my first time experiencing this and my bike cost too much to trust that along with everybody trying to jam their bike into the metal retaining rack. The their is the parking situation, I arrived in the evening and unfortunately the garage two blocks away was full and I wouldn't have had to access to my vehicle which is where I kept my bike. So now I'm at a double loss. I parked at Laz on Water St and kept my bike in my trunk. It's a surface lot and the attendants were very helpful. They had no issue giving me my keys to retrieve my bike a number of times during my stay. Otherwise the hotel was a decent place for a bed and hot shower. If you're not worried about any of the above it's a decent stay I would say a three-star. But if you're here for a cycling event look elsewhere. And the irony in all this is one of the starting locations for the Five Boro Ride was right in front of the hotel most unfortunate. I'm not buying the fire hazard excuse.

I'm writing this during a pandemic and after flooding. That's really hard to overcome, and downtown Manhattan is a shell of itself.

All that said, the management should be replaced. They're woefully understaffed, and you can tell the front-line workers didn't have much of a direction.

The housekeepers were very helpful and pretty efficient, all things considered.

Staffing was an issue, but not enough of one to get barked at by a rent-a-cop when you walk in the hotel at night. They're screaming at you to show a room key, for guests only. They seem to be concerned about who gets in. However, once you're in, it's just "some" service.

The room views are spectacular. Just know going in that's essentially what you pay for. Don't expect a lot of anything else while there.

Great Location for walking in downtown, food, amusements, and tourist attractions. Rooms maybe a bit outdated but are fairly clean, fit the purpose of the stay (just for sleeping!). Very close to major subway lines is a selling point on its own, great food options in every direction
