Mina's Kitchenette reviews
11The ladies are very personable but be careful, they are smooth talking saleswomen. I went for the first time for lunch looking for a lunch special thinking of spending no more than $20, they ended up charging me well over $60 telling me to try various foods which started as a few friendly "samples. " I will never go back again until they have a lunch menu with transparent pricing. They seem to make up prices as they go and that's not right.
Very bad service I ask for a small caldereta beef order and the attendant gave me a large order and every time I ask for a price on the stuff I was ordering she would not give me a price then when I got by bill it was three times what I had intended to spend. They would rather get rich of one customer then to be recommended. My first and last to visit they take advantage that they are the only phillipino restaurant around
If you want authentic Filipino food this is the place to go. Nothing fancy but homemade Filipino food and Mina is awesome!
Great place, delicious food, great service.
Have order food from Mina's for the last three years, have never
Let me down.
The best! Lou and Gloria
Absolutely, authentic and delicious food, my first time trying Filipino food and it was amazing. The service is good. Feels like you’re with family. Leticia is very warm and welcoming
Ateh Mina and Ateh Leyte are the warmest people you'll ever meet.
I come for their daily lunch and dinner meals. You just point out what foods you want and enjoy.
They have great catering menu as well.
Authentic Filipino food that is Queens
It’s like a good home cooked meal. It’s about 3.5 stars. Unfortunately no way to rate it as that.
Very clean & Very good food! Especially employees are so friendly. Thank you very much!
Loved this place. The lady at the counter was so nice. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet. The food is delicious and has a very home-cooked feel to it
Update: Came back for halo halo and somehow the ingredients were lacking, No sweet banana. So just a heads up if you are ordering halo halo. Check first what's available for the day.
First review: I always comes here when am in the area. Why not? Humongous serving. Look at the halo halo.generous portion. Love their palabok and I always order chicken chicharon. Excellent service from Tita Mina and Tita Letty. No, we are not related. But us Filipinos uses honorifics to their elderlies.
