Mirage Diner reviews
20I love this diner! Been living in the Kingshighway area for 30 years now and go there regularly. The food is fresh and delicious, staff and atmosphere is so friendly and positive. You have to try their French onion soup it's the best! Huge Thanks to the waiter Jose who served us last time. He was super friendly, fast and polite! Definitely will be coming back there soon!
Simply awful. Foods from previous day served, oversalted to cover the yestrday taste, overcooked, dry and the dish they served the apetizer was dirty. Never again in here. The quality the past last year just lower and lower. The picture shows the packed leftover to take.
We ordered a specialty omelette with cheese on the home fries and they Forgot the cheese even though we paid an extra dollar 50 for it. We also ordered a Spanish omelette and they sent us some crazy looking version that is their own version of a Spanish omelette and when we asked them what it was they said that this was their version of a Spanish omelette it looked totally gross and then they sent us back another order which was a plain omelette even though we had paid five dollars extra for a specialty omelette and we called them to complain they said you got two orders what do you want there was nothing wrong with the Spanish omelette and we said but we paid extra five dollars for a specialty omelette can you send us back our five dollars we had to fight for five dollars back. Never ordering from this place again.
What a great diner, everyone is wonderful - food is pleasing and tasty. Manager is very accommodating! A÷ Recommend
Time went on and what happened to the food I'm not sure the quality has went down over priced now.you dont get what you order precisely not sure what happenednever going to order with my family again
Alright I ordered a ice tea and yea it was delicious but what threw it off was the tap water taste but it good also I ordered a filet mignon and I gotta be real I was disappointed about it, was extremely dry and flavorless but was cooked perfectly I also had mash potatoes which was good but the green beans were very watery in the inside which wasn’t very enjoyable but it was seasoned pretty good so I’ll give it a 4 star rating will come back one day.
GREAT FOOD FAST SERVICE WITH BEING SEATED WISE AND FOOD WISE. CAN'T COMPLAIN PRICE A LITTLE TO HIGH. LISTEN PEOPLE GOT EXPENSES I UNDERSTAND
Always love the Mirage. And their pre-meal pickles and coleslaw are terrific for a diner.
Zero complaints. It's a neighborhood standby for me and my family.
Having eaten here both on Father’s Day with my partner and our daughter then again on another occasion, I’m very pleased with the quick service, friendly demeanors, food and overall experience. Whether it’s for a celebration, date night, drink, quick eats or just a family outing, this place with its juke boxes and ambience is a location worthy of your monetary investment. Always a positive experience at this location.
What a great service. Haven’t had this much of attention in a while. I was pleasantly surprised. Eggs Benedict is to die for. So glad I stopped by this diner. Will be coming here more often.
Classic dinner feel with a expansive menu that doesn’t feel over-crowded. We came for breakfast and everything was done right. My only complaint was that the homefries could have used a lot more salt, but that’s become very common in dinners. Regardless, they had a nice crust. We finished by splitting a cheese danish, which was delightful. I would definitely one back to try their diner options. Finally, they have a small parking lot, which makes it convenient if you’re driving.
Even though I haven't eaten here in awhile I still wanted to leave a nice review.
The staff is friendly and the food there is delicious.
Everything is clean and they have a jukebox next to some of the tables, which is very cool!
I've been going here for awhile now and the pastrami sandwich is the best in my opinion.
Simply the best! Delicious, affordable, wide selection of food, clean restrooms, and big parking lot! Спасибо Вам большое!
My boyfriend and I have ordered from this place for years now and it isn’t even that far from us, we just never went in person until recently. We both love diners and diner food and this place is so cute. I would’ve came sooner if I knew how nice it was. There’s an old-school style coin music machine at each table, so we had to play a few songs while waiting for our food. We’ve always loved the food here, great classic American choices and a lot more to choose from. Their desserts are always a must as well!
I love this place, waiters are nice and always follows you up after serving food. The only thing are their restrooms which are dirty and has toilet paper on the floor. All the time. The food quality is high, they keep their service standards. During breakfast time they offer you coffee refill a lot but that's fine.
Food, only issue I had was my tables food took a while to come even though we only ordered eggs for most dishes. My child was being irritated waiting for her chocolate milk.the manager did apologize a few times. I don't hold any grudges and world still eat here and return. Food was still good and I enjoyed my meal regardless.
Went to this diner about two weeks ago.
Place was empty. I had to wait about 15 minutes before a waiter finally took my order.
It would have been longer if I didnt speak up.
It seems they give better service to two or more people. Food is expensive.
Might think twice about going back there
Service is horrible, especially that they weren't busy.
One of the few remaining Old School diners in Brooklyn. Come for the atmosphere, don't stay for the food. It's a "greasy spoon" in the best sense of the word. I'm still relieved that this spot survived the pandemic - we need more diners in Brooklyn, now more than ever!
Costumer Service is Great they been around for a very long time. Their entries are on top of the world. They Deliver and you can do pick up orders. There's plenty of to seats to sit down and relax.
