Mishkin's Drug Store, New York NY

This review breaks my heart to write. I am a life long resident of the community that host's Mishkins, a pharmacy that I has been a part of my life since I was a young girl. I used to save coins to buy Valentine's candy for my mom, fake fingernails for me, and just drop by to say hello to the staff that actually cared about their customers. Recently, I called to inquire about the status of a prescription, and while speaking to the pharmacist about an ongoing issue with my insurance, he (the pharmacist) said it still wasn't working. As, I tried to explain that the problem was due to a was a clerical issue, and that, I changed to a different insurance provider, and it works he proceeded to call me a "liar! "
So I decided to go to the store to pick up my medication (and pay if necessary.)
As I spoke to a clerk the pharmacist approached me to address the issue again. I immediately told him to get away from me, to not say anything to me, because he was disrespectfulto me on the phone.
"He said no I wasn't you lied", Shocked that he was once again I was being subjected to his violation. I cursed him out, told him there was no place in our community for merchants that disrespect their customers, and vowed to never enter the doors of a place that I've loved for over 50 years.

They’re really nice here and have delivered additional items when I have ordered my prescriptions—and of course, I imagine it depends on your insurance, but their Rx prices have been quite unbeatable in my experience.

I’ve found their Rx prices to be nearly half of the cost of the major chain stores, plus they have generally friendly service and a helpful staff, who answer the phone fairly quickly and are personable with your needs.

Good to note: their delivery is limited to after about 3pm and on Saturday closes at 4: 30pm, it is also closed on Sundays.
