- Pasta - 5 stars.
- Meatballs? Spicy? Way too many tendon!
Oh no, 1 star! Don't get me wrong, I love chili. I always get the 10 lines red sauce when I go to Halal Guys. But these expensive spicy meatballs don't make sense. They taste like nothing but chili and are overly herbed! Also the little meat in there is not tender, there are way too much tendon. I don’t know how you think, for me, too much tendon is a sign of bad quality or cheap part of meat. During my dinner, I felt like I was chewing a ball of vegetables instead of meat.
- The staff is nicer than at their new Misi location.
- The store is clean with a great ambiance, but it's a bit small and can be noisy at times.

Good food and service.
The bar stools are extremely uncomfortable. You slide all over the place. No where to hang a long coat.

The food quality is good but it’s such small portions for very high prices. The bar seats are super dumb and very uncomfortable.

I'd rate this place a 4 out of 5. Despite the fresh ingredients, I found the flavors slightly lackluster; there's a hard-to-pinpoint, somewhat "musty" quality to them. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and the deli upfront adds to the charm.

On a separate note: It's mere speculation, but I couldn't help but notice nearby tables receiving complimentary service items, whereas ours did not. The only apparent distinction was the skin color/ethnicity of the diners. I'm not accusing Misipasta, but it did strike me as a bit unusual.

I could spend this entire review ranting about how much I hated sitting on the silver stools at Misipasta. They are ridiculously slippery. I had to wrap my legs behind me and lock my feet to stop falling off them. My BF is much nicer than me was fuming about them. That's reason enough not to go back.

There are other reasons but before I go into the food let me tell you I had one of the most drop dead, best meals of my life when Missy Robbins was the chef at Corkbuzz Chelsea. I wish it had trickled down to this place.

First of all, it's kind of torturous to be in a place where there's a really small and not crazy interesting menu while you're surrounded by this other food that looks much better but you can't eat in the restaurant. SMH. THAT PORCHETTA was just teasing me.

The service was a bit uneven considering how small the spaces and how bored some of the people looked behind the counter. The waiter answer the question about the drinks and then never came back to take the order for them.

The pour on my glass of wine was wildly different depending upon who did it. Pssst. I definitely prefer the generous server.

We started with the fontina gougeres and prosciutto. Gougeres were excellent. The prosciutto was sliced unevenly. Parts of the same slice of meat were too thick and properly thin so it was chewy.

The artichoke sandwich is very good. Our resident vegetarian was very happy with it and wished she could get it everyday for lunch.

The delicata squash was quite tasty under the bright bagna vert sauce.

The farinata was beautifully executed but small. It begged having a bowl of something saucy with it.

Problem is all three pasta sides were uninteresting. They looked uninteresting on the menu and they followed through. It tasted like I was eating a bowl of spaghetti with breadcrumbs and barely any bottarga in it. The cappelletti filling was okay but again nothing interesting about the sauce just seemed like a little bit of butter and there was barely any sauce on the maltagliati although the texture was good. Since pasta is the main focus of this place you think it would be amazing. My experience for the hype and the price was opposite. I would not recommend.

It's weird to have to stare at a tiramisu from my seat and not being able to order any.

We had the chocolate panna cotta for dessert which the consistency of chocolate mousse and was not like panna cotta at all but it was delicious.

I do love the look of the place and the branding on all the products. Prices in the store are breathtaking. I think a $38 small bottle of anchovies would need to be eaten with a razor blade. Lol!

Super overpriced but good. Limited options. The portions are insanely small. The gelato has totally different texture and flavor profile than what they serve in the restaurant for some reason

The appetizers were good but the pasta was overdone, bland and dry. One extra star for the lovely waiter but will not be going back.

All the dishes were delicious, the seasoning of the dishes was an explosion of flavors, I highly recommend the spaghetti bottarga. Impeccable service, everyone was very kind and helpful, and patient with someone who doesn't speak English as well as I do. Atmosphere is relaxed and more casual.

I was excited to get a table as a walk-in when my friend and I were in the area and decided on a whim to check out Missy Robins’ latest dining establishment. The wait was only 45 mins, enough time to grab an aperitif nearby and if you’ve ever tried to get a reservation at her other two restaurants (Misi & Lilia), you know that 45 mins was an amazing wait time.

Our first impression was that it felt more like a pasta shop than a restaurant, since you notice the pasta with homemade pasta & ravioli first, and seating is limited. (I later noticed a large outside area in the backyard though, so I’d love to come back in warmer weather.) Apparently, the pasta store is the core of the business, which means the menu is much more limited than in her other restaurants.

I personally was a bit disappointed when I noticed that there was only one pasta dish on the menu - and it had bottarga in it, which is a cured fish grated over pasta dishes.for me as a vegetarian, this was a No. For a place that has “pasta” in its name, I was hoping for more pasta dishes on the menu. That said, my friend enjoyed this dish. The only vegetarian main dish on the menu was a sort-of artichoke burger (artichoke, cheese and hot pepper on a bun), which was fine, but also something I’d not go back for. We shared two starters: tomatoes on sourdough (divine!) and marinated eggplant (which we wish would’ve been served on sourdough too - we could’ve pictured this well with the whipped ricotta)

Everything else at MISIPASTA was perfect: the service was impeccable, the cocktails were delectable, and the atmosphere was lovely. I hope the menu changes and we can come back to try different dishes.

I work nearby so plan on coming here and trying everything over time. Got the artichoke sandwich today - pretty good, I’ve never had one before

We took a seat by the kitchen. Incredible sides and pasta that goes head to head with the best of them. The spaghetti was my highlight. But the tomato sauce sheet pasta was wonderful too—super thin, but still al-dente.

Incredibly nice staff, and good cocktails.

When Lilia's first opened me and my wife would go every week. Then it got busy, we had kids, and it became a huge endeavor to make it to either Misi or Lilia. We walked by the new Misipasta the day before it opened and I got excited. The excitement was justified. Great small lunch menu with the same amazing food I loved at Missy Robbins other establishments.

First time I went in during the opening week, Missy was there giving cooking advice. I bought fresh pasta and smothered in the garlic sauce. Amazing. Over the past week I had a staycation and my wife and I were able to go for lunch. I had the artichoke sandwich on one occasion and the pasta with red sauce on the other. Both were amazing.

Small is the main theme here. While food is good, the portions are very small. The space is even smaller. They seat 4 where you can only seat 3 and 6 where you can barely fit 5 in the indoor dining room. Very uncomfortable seating situation.

Lovely spot in Williamsburg with several seats to eat some fresh food. The sandwiches were exceptional, great drinks, and a wonderful affogato to end the night.

Our server Rose was an absolute gem. She had the perfect amount of professionalism, charm, sweetness, and information on the menu.

I’m walk-in on Sunday night. Kind of a little bit busy. They have only outdoor seating at that time. (for walk-in) too cold for wintertime but very cozy and has good service.

Food was mediocre and the portions were extremely small. This was disappointing because Lilia and Misi are extraordinary. There were very few vegetarian options, despite much of the menu appearing to be vegetarian. Would be nice to have a menu available online so people can make informed decisions. Was a nightmare to get in contact with anyone at the restaurant to make changes to a reservation. 3 stars for ambiance and service.

We spent a couple of hours one evening in Misi Pasta. The food was outstanding and we had a table by the kitchen so watched the incredible chefs at work. We had a couple of small plates and pasta. The wine and cocktails were delicious too. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

The most uncomfortable dining experience - proceed at your own risk if you’re 30+ (lol)

The place was super cute and had a menu of maybe 8 items. We were seated at the end of the bar near the kitchen. We got the sardines to start and when we asked the bartender if they had any bread, she just said no. I was surprised but said ok! We proceeded through our meal of squash (AMAZING!) and two of the pastas (one was a special of the evening and the other was the red sauce pasta on the menu) and enjoyed everything.

We saw our neighbor got an interesting looking dish and when we asked the bartender what it was, she said it was “a fried chickpea cake. Kind of like bread…I didn’t tell you before because it takes a little bit to cook and you had already started eating. ” Very strange, I thought, because we ordered it anyway and what was the harm in mentioning it to us earlier? They staff also had a very long pow-ow gossip session near us toward the end of the meal that made me slightly uncomfortable.

The real uncomfortable part of the experience was the chairs at the bar. When I tell you I’m not yet 30 and it made us run out of there, I’m not kidding. They were slick metal chairs with maybe 9-12 inches of foot resting space on a bar that didn’t go all the way around the stool. You had to rest your feet on it though because if you didn’t, you’d slide right off. I don’t know if whoever picked these chairs has sat in them, maybe they didn’t… but the vibe is “get in. Eat. Get the F out” and I’m pretty sure that is what they were going with so maybe it doesn’t matter at all.

Overall I don’t know if I would rush back but it’s a cute idea if you can’t get in or haven’t been to Misi (not like you can walk in here either though…) and the food is absolutely delicious.

I came here when they first opened, and had a great experience with their front of house staff who kindly accommodated us without a reservation. For the price, I think the quality and flavors of the food punch above their weight - classic Missy! Always impressed

5 stars is not enough. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was out of this world!
