Mika is the nicest woman ever, and her flowers reflect her kindness! The most beautiful arrangements in the city. Her shop is adorable and has great house plants.

Mika is terrific. She worked to help me customize an arrangement for a friend's new home with the freshest, most fragrant blooms, and the result was a hit!

Love this place! Clean, Zen, Fresh air, Healing space. The owner has a lot of knowledge of flower, plants. Please ask her anything about. I ordered several times for my big events or for small surprise here and there from Mitaka NY Flowers. AMAZING! I just told her my random images of bouquet then it’s always perfect. Mika is the best! She did our flowers for our tiny wedding ceremony in Central Park during this pandemic and I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Mika was incredibly helpful and easy to work with in sending flowers for a memorial service that we were unable to attend because we were out of town. She designed the bouquet, which, as a you can see was beautiful, and personally delivered it to the service (close to the shop) before her store even opened.

When Mika opened up her plant and flower shop in my neighborhood I immediately went in. She has the coolest plant and pots. She is the nicest person and I couldn’t help but buy 5 plants from her! She has become my plant guru. I stop by when I have questions. She’s so knowledgeable. I told her about this a huge cactus that needed to be repotted and she came to my apartment and measured and advised me. Then returned and repotted it in my apartment (it was huge) She also repotted another plant that hadn’t been repotted in 20 years! I can’t say enough good things about Mika, her plants and her good vibes.

I have been to mitaka for housewarming, new baby and just because bouquets and flowers. She has such unique flowers and arrangements and gives every piece such a personal unique touch. She just delivered on a Sunday to the hospital to my cousin who delivered her baby within three hours of me reaching out. Every experience and bouquet is special!

This is no ordinary florist. It's a floral adventure any time I visit, and a welcomely unique fresh addition to the UES. The owner (a real plant geek) is very hands-on and takes care of her customers AND plants/flowers with great attention. It's not only the wide variety of greenery and flowers she procures, but it's the sincere thought and joy you see in her vision to share what she deeply cares for. It's hard not to stop by and just say, hi.when passing by. This is a special place for sure, and I hope it's here for years and years to come.
