Such a cute and quiet little place. Food was excellent! Absolutely loved this place.

Awesome food, great service. We loved our lunch special with Salmon teriyaki

As good as always, the fried gyoza I ordered had a nice golden brown on three sides and paired with its sauce is just delicious. The salmon teriyaki dinner is just simply amazing, large portions and the teriyaki sauce is just very savory, tiny bit of crunchiness on the outside and tender in the inside.

This is the worst sushi I've ever had, and I've had some bad sushi. The "spicy" rolls tasted funky, as if a weird flavor had been added. The shumai was grainy, and seemed to have chicken inside. The rice was just plain rice, not sushi rice (which is supposed to have vinegar and sugar added). The only good thing was the pickled vegetables. Really disappointing.

How can I say enough good things about Miyako? The vibe is cozy and welcoming. The staff are kind and really care. The portions are generous, sushi and sashimi are melt-in-your mouth fresh. This is great quality at modest prices. The dinner bento box has to be the best deal on the UWS.

Miyako offers excellent Japanese food, consistently very high quality at great prices. The staff is very friendly and they adapt to my special request every time!
