Buffet Restaurant Mizumi reviews
22Food is amazing! I came for lunch which closes at 3pm but they allow you to grab food until then and hang around till 4pm to finish eating. The staff would remind you of last call to grab food. The staff was extremely pleasant. Very clean as well! You have to wear gloves when serving yourself from the buffet. And of course wear a mask when up from your table
This place is amazing and nice dining area. Good food and this is the Buffet restaurant. My friend has been there with a swim team in high school in fresh Meadows. They are variety of food and like it. Been to another restaurant like this Somewhere in little neck. Will go back there again
Better before but recently food quality has gone down. Additionally, they are making you wait quite long for the most sought after dishes (e.g, fish, oysters, duck, shrimp, etc.). To the point where within their 2-hr seating limit you might only have 2-3 chances to get the dishes you want. Almost defeats the purpose of going to a buffet
Over the years I have gone here a dozen times. But recently the quality have gone down and some foods are no longer available. No sea bass. Desserts have decreased, no fresh churros, replaced with rice krispies. Ice cream is not creamy anymore, meaning they watered it down with ice. They never have lobster or hibachi even though their high price really mean they should. With the number of competitive buffets in Long Island, I rather go to DJ International buffet on Stewart Ave or Minado.
Disappointed honestly. Over priced $35 per adult and even charged 1/4 for my 1 year old daughter. Great selection of sushi but when you get to other food, it's lacking. Only offer white rice or shrimp fried rice? Waiting a while for dishes and waiting a while for our waiter to get off his phone. My fiance had to go to the kitchen to literally hand him the bill because we were waiting too long.
This is one of my favorite buffet in Ny. They have lots of fresh sushi and many delicious foods. Parking are very easy and prices are very reasonable
One of my favorite buffets. Prices are fair. They have an assortment of foods. Sushi is well made. I love the green tea ice cream. Sometimes they have taro too
Lunch is definitely the winner here. Seafood is pretty fresh. Sushi is just so so. There is a time limit of one and a half hours.
Food was not bad but service sucks. Not much protein options well obviously because it says sushi and seafood buffet! The cakes are good.
Kind of mid price to little bit expensive but the food was great. It is a great buffet food place. It is crowded and busy usually so advise you to go early.
Seafood qualities are really disappointing. Most of them are not fresh at all, like crabs, clams.and the most popular food like snow crab legs, you will never get it they only put certain small quantity and always gone less than one minute. Lots of empty dishes and they don’t really refill them in time.
Delicious food- I mean DELICIOUS!
Clean and sanitary.
Nice, kind waiters and waitresses.
Out of this world!
The staff was nice but there is a 1.5 hour maximum stay rule. We drove all the way from NJ to have dinner with friends and kept getting reminded of the time. If you are not a fast eater then this is not the buffet for you.
The kid charge full price for 8 year olds 4 people lunch over $100.the food is so salty or so sweet or too dry.
I love sushi and Mizumi gives me all the sushi I want at a reasonable price. Restaurant is clean and the staff is great.
It has good selection of sea food although nothing really stands out. If you are looking especially for all you can eat sushi buffets there are so many other better alternatives in NY.
It’s tough to find a good AYCE buffet with a large selection of hot and cold food.
The sushi rolls here are average but the sashimi goes quick and tastes very fresh. I don’t think the crab legs are all that but somehow it gets cleaned out every time at put out.
I’m a big fan of the galbi and seabass. Theres a little something for everyone. Just come hungry so you can get your moneys worth.
If you like sushi, variety, buffet style eating then you go here. Sushi, crab legs, oysters, uni, all sorts of cooked beef and chicken, salads and desserts.
Always fresh, always reliable, just don't go between 6: 30-7: 30 pm on the weekend because you'll end up with an hour wait.
Enjoy!
High quality delicious all you can eat sushi, maki, and sashimi. Other options include raw bar, crab legs, and a variety of non seafood items.
The place is super crowded during peak times and with kids running around it can get hectic but the food is high quality so it is definitely worth it.
Nice big clean, parking lot.seafood, bbq, sushi and sashimi, salads, desserts.on the very expensive side for a buffet. About 35+ per adult for dinner. But I wouldn't say it's not worth it if you have the stomach for it:)
