I was very fortunate to have rented space at this beautiful location. As the owner of Blessings Wellness Center I wanted to expand my reach if clients. I chose MK Beauty because of its location and the amazing energy once I entered. The space was very affordable and convenient. The space was perfect for my non-invasive body contouring clients and I was even able to have my medium galleries there as well. If you are looking for a perfect space to rent out definitely reach out to Michael he is the best.

Amanda gave me an amazing cut and style. It is exactly what I was looking for. She took the time to even find a picture to illustrate what I was describing and matched it to a t! I left feeling like a million bucks. I will be going back to her again.

I absolutely am in love with my hair. For years and years I have been trying to find someone to actually listen to me and deliver on what I want as I have pin straight hair with no volume so I decided to get a perm and my appointment fell through at another place I was supposed to go to so I called mk salon and Amanda picked up the phone and was so accommodating and was happy to do my perm. I got there and she was very professional clean and organized. She listened to me on how I wanted it and that is exactly what I got. It's pure perfection. If you want the best bang for your buck and you want the prefect cut, color, or perm go see Amanda she is absolutely amazing and takes her time to get it exactly how you invasion it. I'm very picky when it comes to getting my hair cut, because I experienced my hair being cut very badly at the hair salon in the mall. Since then, I'm afraid to go to the salon to get my hair cut, I usually cut and dye my hair myself. But this time, I wanted to change my hairstyle from long hair to short hair. I made an appointment with Kenyon the professional barber at MK salon after I searched and read reviews on Google. Kenyon, he did a great job on cutting and coloring my hair, I am very satisfied and happy. I got a lot of compliments of my new hairstyle. I will definitely come back to MK salon for my hair care in the future.

My hair was tangling when i road my motorcycle so i wanted to get my ponytail braided, most places didnt do braids so i looked online and found mk salon &barber.they had great reviews and photos.stoped in there and kenyon too me right in and shaped an trimmed it really nice then he called Amanda and she came in and did the braid.hows that for service.what an ausume job she did.they are the best ever.cant say enough.

Jenny at MK gives the BEST most consistent and cleanest fades I’ve ever had. She’s easy going and easy to talk to. She’s quick and the fade is perfect every single time. Do yourself a favor, leave the neighborhood barber shop behind, and go give her a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
If I could leave a 5* review after every hair cut I would! I’ve been to countless barber shops over the years and have always had the same problem, the cuts are rarely consistent. Some times you get a great cut other times you leave with lines on your head.

It is a really nice salon / barbershop. Very open and spacious. Looking forward to frequenting their new location in Colonie center!

Wanted to try somewhere new and luckily found Amanda Severance at MK Beauty. Had a wonderful VIP service and feel like a fresh new woman, plus she is so down to earth and great to talk to. She did an amazing job giving me the style I want while working with my covid home haircuts haha. I normally don't get my hair cut more than once a year but I'll be back for trims because she did such a great job and I really enjoyed my time ^. ^ The salon is small, but clean and professional:)
