I really like the doctor, no issues with him he’s caring and seem to listen to your concerns. I previously had a great doctor for 20 years who became ill and had been doctor shopping since. I waited 3 months to see Dr Garb and really liked him, thought the search was over. Since the first appointment it has been ridiculous to try to see him. Doesn’t matter if I take a bad fall and brake my leg, need presurgical clearance, colds, flu and abnormal heart rate. Can’t get I’m to see him. They always pawn you off on other physicians who always have openings, go figure, or a nurse practitioner who doesn’t know one med from another. I hate these large groups that operate like a clinic. When you pay 400.00 you should get better care. My new physicians are the walk in urgent care, so sad

This is by far the worst medical group to be a patient at, forget trying to build a relationship with a doctor because you can never get an appointment with them. It is truly said to see the decline in medical care in the recent years. Big practice such as MKMG or its new name now Caremount are monopolistic and just into the billing and not the individual care. For the reception staff they are heartless robots who have no empathy when you call and express your situation. For someone who never really goes to the doctor b/c I try to keep healthy but when you need a doctor there isn't room to see one. I have had a fever since last night and my throat is so inflamed I can barley swallow and I was turned away to see Dr. Garb, this is the second time I have called for an appointment and have been turned away. I will be searching for a private practice were my life and medical conditions feel valued unlike here where you are a number in there system. For God sakes prisoners get better medical attention then the patients of MKMG.

Trying to make an appointment, still on hold for over 6: 47 minutes, not a good sign. When Rosa did just pick up, she put me on hold again to see if Dr. Garb is in today.came back over a minute later & said, "Ok, let me see if he's available. "

I rarely give a review of this nature but in this case I must. Let me be very clear Dr. Garb is a very good Dr. I have not had any issues with him. It is his office specifically the people in charge of setting up appointments that I have an issue with. Yes, Dr. Garb is one of these Drs.who takes there time with their patients. So he does run behind schedule, not a huge deal when he truly takes an interest in the people he treats and their family. So I expect to wait say any where between 10 minutes to possibly 20 after my set appointment. However, I drive an hour to MT. Kisko Med, the reason, I thought the care given my Dr. Garb was worth the drive. Ok, here is where it becomes sticky, my last three appointments I waited for 40 minutes before being seen. With a toddler that is not acceptable. The toddler is the patient so as you can imagine he cannot stay home. Last appointment I waited 45 minutes when I inquired as to why the long wait, I was told by a very flustered receptionist, that whoever scheduled me had not scheduled me to see the Dr.and therefore Dr. Garb didn't even know I was there! (By the way by this time my child had melted down, had been crying, and I wanted to join him). So needless to say, I drove and hour, spent time and gas, plus tolls simply to be told I was not expected to be there that day. Mind you I did receive a reminder call to confirm my appointment. While I was there I was told the director was going to speak to me, yet I never did have that conversation as the director didn't ever show up.
