Bakery Mochiido reviews
13These are amazing! If you haven’t you have got to try them! So fluffy and light. Such a different donut experience. So easy to share! Each donut is like 10 mini donuts! So much better than those generic places! Can’t wait to go back and try the macaroons!
This is a small stall at the end of the long hallway at the Foodie Town Flushing hall around the corner from White Bear dumplings. They have mochi doughnuts, character macaroons, and “ugly cookies” (giant cookies). I tried the chocolate chip “ugly cookie” and it’s really good! The edges are crisp but the center is soft. It’s got a good balance of sweetness. The chocolate chips are plentiful but not overpowering where you need to have something to drink with it. I wish they had an option to warm up the cookie before serving but considering how small the space is, I understand why they can’t offer that option. One cookie is $3.75 but considering the size and other cookies similar to this style, it’s on par with other prices I’ve seen. Definitely want to go back to try the other two smore style cookies!
Unique flavors, creative designs, and good quality Korean style macarons! The owner was working this day and was helpful in explaining which flavors she enjoyed the most. It’s a cute little stand in the back of a food hall so I see why they don’t get as much traction as they deserve. I got the mint chocolate, Creme brûlée, and lychee strawberry macarons with a brown sugar chocolate chip cookie; my favorite being the Creme brûlée and cookie. If you’re looking for a cute gift idea, these would be perfect.
Wonderful family business with amazing quality treats and decent prices.
This shop is located in the back of one of the small food courts in flushing. The shop is run by a mother and daughter team who are always very nice when we stop. They use high quality ingredients which creates a high quality end product. I’ve tried a lot of mochi doughnuts and they make the best in flushing. Additionally, they have a ton of fun-flavored macaroons with very different flavor profiles. There is space to stand around and eat your treats and one table for people to sit as well.
Highly recommend stopping here and giving this family shop some business.
Adorable macarons handmade made by the sweetest lady. All the fillings were delicious!
$4 for one, worth it.
I had their macarons. First of all, the design and the quality is amazing. Taste, of course, amazing. It's sad that this place is far away from my home, but I will definitely go again. One of the best dessert places out there, give it a try!
I tried the donuts, macaroons and the corndogs. Let me just say they are to die for! Super soft and not too sweet. The corndogs are huge! Amazing quality! Everything is so cute and the owner is so sweet! If you are in the area go check them out! You will not be disappointed:)
Excellent small bakery among specialty items: mochi donuts, overstuffed macarons, cheese sticks. Worth making an effort to visit.
The best donut…not only in Flushings…but in New York! It beats any donut and pastry franchises out there. The donuts have great creative flavors, and the consistency has a soft and yet crunch to it that I really like! It is fast service and good the owner/staff is really friendly! 5 stars!
The staff is so friendly and it's the best Korean corndog. The batter is so good snd their mochi donuts are amazing and they were super nice and gave a sample. This place is for takeout but there's a park across the street with benches so you can eat.
The pinnacle of our foodie trip in Flushing!
The garlic bread with whipped cream (only available on the weekend) was airy, savory, delicious to the max and the reason for another trip to Flushing
Their mochi donuts were the best in Flushing since it is more mochi like and not bready like the other shops.
We absolutely loved loved? The macarons! The chubby sized cookies were smooth with the perfect consistency. And the filling was so light and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. The distinct flavors were all yummy (strawberry, caramel, Andes mint, mango)
Huge huge love and shoutout to the owner/baker and her beautiful daughter, they made sure the garlic breads were ready early so we can catch our flight. Only regret…. Shoulda’ grab them all instead of just 2.
Super cute and delicious mochi donuts! Very friendly daughter with her mother in the back making fresh donuts
