This is one of the most aesthetically pleasing wellness centers yet. Great decor for sure!
When I arrived, I was greeted warmly by name. I was offered fresh juice (unsweetened-bonus) and a comfy seat. The waiver forms are very easy to follow and straight to the point.
Amanda called my name early for my appointment. I got a Vitamin D shot because my primary care informed me that I'm a little deficient (as are a lot of New Yorkers). Amanda educated me on how frequent I should get the shot how I will benefit.
The appointment went perfectly and I can't wait to return. I'm looking at all of their treatments and how I can fit it into my current wellness regimen!

Received an IV drip here. Chantelle is amazing— she’s super sweet and has a warm demeanor. Beautiful facility and love the private rooms. I’ll be back!

This was my first experience of BOTOX in NYC and the second time in the US. Dr. Patel is thoughtful, considerate, and provides great recommendations to make sure you received expected results. Highly recommend location and Dr. Patel.

Taking care of yourself has never been easier! I did their Aging Wellness Assessment and got some great recommendations to improve my energy levels and hyperpigmentation on my face. I had no idea a monthly vitamin injection could replace daily supplements - so much easier! I had two chemical peels and my skin looks and feels super soft!

UPDATE: Shortly after posting my initial review, Modern Age's Director of Operations Courtney, reached out to me personally and gave their apologies and expressed their regret over my experience. They offered me a complimentary IV drip and I took them up on it. I was cared for by Shantal who was fantastic. Upon leaving, I met with Courtney who again expressed their apologies. I appreciate Modern Age's willingness to learn from my feedback.

INITIAL REVIEW:
My first (free) consultation with Dr. Datta was fantastic. I was impressed with the space and especially with the care that Dr. Datta brought to our time together. I appreciated that she shared details about how she ended up at Modern Age and what her perspective was on providing care for people on a day to day basis. I left feeling like this was someone who was aligned with my values. I truly believe Dr. Datta is an incredible practitioner however the overall service of Modern Age left a bad taste in my mouth. Firstly, I experienced challenges with the digital elements of their service. For example, being asked to perform multiple intake forms, asked the same questions multiple times, and also performing their different online analyses but not having my results saved in my profile. Secondly, I experienced challenges paying for my services with my FSA. While I recognize that FSA is complicated and who is responsible for what is often convoluted, I would have appreciated more assistance from Modern Age; I had to do the bulk of the work to eventually get a reimbursement. Lastly, at the time of my follow up appointment with Dr. Datta, the equipment was faulty (in my case, their bone density scanner). This was frustrating given that I paid for this service and made the time to come to their clinic. In short, while I appreciate that the mission of the company, there are still bugs to be worked out. I won't be coming back for some time.

I high recommend Modern Age spa. My hydro facial was absolutely amazing. My face looks and feels shiny and hydrated. The staff are so professional, courteous, and helpful. Love this spa!

I went to Modern Age for an Immunity IV Drip. It was such a great experience. The place smells fantastic, such a calming place in the middle of the city. The lady that helped me was just fantastic, so sweet and nice. I sat in this comfy chair with my legs up and a warm blanket and I just relaxed while the procedure took place. Definitely coming back.

My clinician Stef Rippenbaum, who is a Nurse Practitioner, spent considerable time with me to discuss my health goals and recommended that I try an Energy IV Drip to boost my energy levels. I have to say that the whole experience really relaxing (and I'm not a huge fan of needles!) and I felt so much better afterwards. She also recommended a skin care regimen that, after using it for a few weeks, has really helped improve my skin tone and firmness. Having worked in the beauty industry in the past, I was skeptical - but I have to say, these products were phenomenal. I can actually tell the difference after using them. Everyone was also very kind and really caring. Highly recommend the team there.

I recently had the hydrafacial at Modern Age and it was worth every penny. It was relaxing and my skin has never looked so good afterward. My esthetician was supremely knowledgeable, and we chatted about all sorts of skincare advice and technology. I absolutely love coming here and can’t wait to come back.

Stef was AMAZING! I got filler and a lip flip for the first time and felt nothing but ease in that chair. She was so knowledgeable and describing everything she was doing as she was going. The experience as a whole was great. Staff was so friendly, and the space is clean and relaxing! Overall - 10000/10 cannot recommend Modern Age enough.

I LOVE Modern Age. The space is gorgeous, and it's always a 10/10 experience. I found out from a blood test at Modern Age that I had low vitamin D levels, so I ended up buying a pack of vitamin D3 injection shots (which I originally didn't even know was an option? !) and have been coming every month. All of the clinicians are SO nice and have made me feel super comfortable. I've been feeling a lot better and have been recommending Modern Age to all of my friends!

I really appreciated the consultation from Dr Moushumi Datta-Thomas MD. I now have better understanding on possible treatment of my sleep issues and the guidance on my diet. I will definately revisit to get more deeper assessment

I went to Modern Age for a B12 injection and my clinician, Shantal, was so calm and great with a needle! I remember exclaiming because I was so surprised at how seamlessly she’d been able to inject me without me even noticing. Valentina at the front desk was also incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She walked me through the different supplements answering all my questions throughout with great patience and I left with a nice assortment to add to my wellness routine. I can’t wait to go back and dig into their extensive offerings and bliss out in the stunning space!

Michaela Robbins, NP was amazing! She spent over an hour with me going over my results. We were able to uncover a hormonal imbalance, and a Vitamin D deficiency. She set me up with supplements as well as monthly injections. I’m already feeling better! I’m looking forward to continuing my treatment plan and improving my overall wellness.
