Modern Spaces reviews
19Well, what can I say about Samantha k. She was amazing! To say the least. I’m currently living in Florida, attempting to move to New York, and she carefully assisted me and guided me through our entire process. She took the time to get to know me and my likes and was able to find the perfect apartment for me. She even guided me through all the paperwork and helped me find a great moving company. AMAZING experience, thank you Sam!
Samantha went above and beyond as a real estate broker!
Am I difficult client? Yes.
Do I have a thousand questions? Yes.
Are my requests borderline unreasonable for a New York City market? Almost completely.
But she managed to find a store for my second Comic Book Store location that checks off all the boxes I needed to make it work!
Call Modern Spaces. Ask for Samantha.
Do NOT use this company to find a good place to rent / home. You will be wasting your time. I was supposed to meet the broker Ms. Genesis Botero, who failed to show up to the showing and sent a sloppy email that she couldn't make it afte waiting for 20 minutes in the cold, with NO APOLOGY! I spent 4 hours commuting to the unit, and left work early. THIS is how they treat their clients - with complete and utter disrespect. Will never recomment or use this agency ever again.
Totally unprofessional and rude. I call to inquire about a unit and I'm getting rushed off the phone. Thought the goal is to sell/rent units not sit on them. Don't waste your time with this office.
I am a regular client. Hired Mae for a renter. She found me a terrible person who abandoned the apartment before completion of lease. When I emailed her and even CEO they just ignored my emails. Didn’t want to take any responsibility for this client. I found their behavior completely unprofessional.
I first worked with Mary Beth McGill about 5 years ago for the purchase of an LIC apartment. She was trustworthy and made the entire process as stress free as possible. Earlier this year I worked with her again for the sale of the same apartment and subsequent purchase of another apartment. Mary Beth remains great at what she does and is very knowledgeable about the neighborhood. She is always on time for appointments and overall very dependable. I would definitely work with her again in the future!
Zach did a great job in making me as well as my brother feel as comfortable as possible, he made the entire process seamless and easy.
Don't work with Alex G. I asked basic questions about a listing and he avoided the questions repeatedly. It took several attempts at asking the question to get a somewhat straight answer. He then argued with me (and did some gaslighting) after I mentioned I'd rather not want to work with him. There's no way I would trust spending hundreds of thousands of dollars with someone like Alex.
If someone tries to mislead with the easy stuff, imagine the shadiness when things get more complicated.
Zach is an incredible agent, being completely upfront, direct, honest and a man of his word. His excellent communication skills made working together seamless. I highly recommend working with him.
Jiali is very helpful and kind. With her help, I finally find a fantastic apartment in the Upper West Side. I strongly recommend working with her.
Zach was great to work with in finding an apartment. He was very responsive and flexible, and the while process was very easy!
Zach Zachariadis was a pleasure to work with. He was so helpful while walking me through the process of renting in NYC. He was very quick to answer all of my questions and did so with much appreciated detail. So happy with how smooth the process was. I highly recommend working with Zach.
Zach was the perfect balance between professional and friendly. He answered all of our questions and was very helpful throughout the application process.
Finding a quality apartment for the right price in the city can be tricky. It’s a process that requires a lot of patience and the right agent to help along the way.
I spent months searching and inquiring to find the perfect place, and can confidently say I am happy with my choice!
None of this would have been possible without the immense help of my agent Zach Zachariadis. Zach was most attentive and responsive, answering even my most menial questions. After I texted or emailed him, not five minutes would go by before I received thorough and intelligible responses from him, answers I’d find myself going back to when attending to details during the lease-signing part of the process.
He surpassed my expectations, providing me with not only a video tour but also a 3D virtual tour, details of local places of interest including restaurants and laundries, and helpful contact info for locksmiths and tenants’ previous living experiences in the apartment.
An upstanding, professional, and honest guy! Highly recommend working with him.
My experience has been nothing but positive from the beginning. Zach was able to find us the place we wanted and had a great time doing it. Highly recommend!
Zach was incredibly knowledgeable in helping me find an apartment in Astoria. Would highly recommend him. The experience was easy and I wouldn’t use anyone else.
Going into NYC and dealing with brokers for the first time, I was nervous and a little intimidated. During my first few interactions with a broker, they gave a lot of pushback when I expressed concerns, and would get annoyed when I mentioned price. I was pretty burnt out and was going to skip out on the last viewing of the day, but I’m glad I didn’t! Zach Zachariadis was showing an open house and even though we showed up a few minutes before it ended, he greeted us with enthusiasm! I was really excited about the place, and he could see that. Instead of puffing up the apartment, he was very real and told us BOTH the good and bad. Zach was friendly, timely, and calming throughout the whole process, even when some unforeseen hiccups happened on our end. Zach completely changed the way I would typically view brokers, and you are extremely lucky if you get the chance to work with him!
No worries with Zach! Zach Zachariadis is such a nice guy- he communicates so quickly and friendly. He’s honest. He pointed out a small flaw in an otherwise knockout apartment (which was fine by me). But he wanted to KNOW that it was ok by me. This guy has the qualities you are looking for when moving!
During our apartment search in New York, my husband and I have met so many agents who showed up late, answered their personal calls during showings and generally lacked professionalism.
But Zach Zachariadis was the opposite. He was punctual, so polite and upfront (huge plus) about the apartment he showed us. After the showing, Zach also made sure to answer all the many questions we thought of via email/text very promptly and clearly. We were (and are) really grateful for his professionalism and general good vibes because it made the otherwise agonizing process of apartment-hunting smooth and painless. We have since moved into the apartment he showed us and are loving it.
