Moe's Southwest Grill, Rochester NY

I brought the whole family out for lunch on Sunday. Very disappointing, I ordered 2 burrito bowls, and it was hard to find the beef in the bowl. The service was friendly, but the portions were very substandard. I have gone to Moe's many times before, but if this is the new portions, I will find somewhere else to go. Even the chips were a small fraction of what I would have expected for 4 meals.

Slow operation, the guy ran out of guacamole, cheese and sower cream on me, it took 10 min to get more cheese, he went to a storage and came back with cheeses (wearing same gloves), kept preparing food, tomato’s and onions he put using his hands! Very Poor operation. Food taste was not good either.

Just came in for dinner with the family and everything has improved greatly! Apparently this location is under new management and it really shows! HUGE IMPROVEMENT from our last visit a couple months back. Excellent crew, very friendly! Food was FRESH, IN STOCK, and DINING AREA WAS CLEAN! Restaurant was open during stated hours and did not shut down early. Received an enthusiastic "Welcome to Moe's" greeting upon entry as well. 5 STARS! This was our favorite Moe's location and with this new management and crew, I expect it will be again)

Ordinarily I am very pleased with the chain. This one, however, is owned and operated Independant from others I’ve visited. After receiving. Bowl, I was given a small teaspoon of guacamole and a sparkly filled bowl. No mushrooms or olives. I’m told the owner doesn’t offer them. What sets Moe’s apart from other places is that it offers topping that others don’t as well as chips without adding cost. If you’re going to remove items that should be there, and are there at all others, it makes you no different and no reason for people to come. Set yourself apart and stay there to keep your customers.

Food is great, but employees don't shout Welcome to Moe's! They might mumble it for one out of every 10 groups that walk in the door. Pretty poor. I get that the workers are young, but that's what made this place popular in Henrietta. Yes the food is still good, but I have heard from others as well that Moe's doesn't shout 'Welcome to Moe's' anymore. Kinda sad. But, they're not alone. The Victor location doesn't either. Only Henrietta.

My online order said 2: 22 pickup. They started making it at 2: 22. The manager saw me at 2: 15, asked if I needed help, I said I have a 2: 22 pickup. She said it will be ready in a few minutes. 2: 38 I’m out. The manager said they were busy. Myself and one couple were in the store. Never again!

They put food on the floor right in front of me I pointed it out they’re like “it’s wrapped! There’s also toppings on the cart” I could give a F less about cilantro- why is staff putting food on the ground? That is disgusting. They said it’s cause they’re “trying to clean” apparently they don’t know how cleaning works. Things don’t get cleaner when you set them on the not even swept or mopped dirty floor.

Fiancé ordered dinner through the phone tonight, since I was running errands and was in the area. We love Moe's, so we figured it would be a nice treat for us.

Upon my arrival, there was no "Welcome to Moe's! " from any of the three lads behind the counter, which was a bit jarring. They seemed to be having their own conversation.

The food was on the pickup shelf on time, but when I got home, I discovered that our orders were completely wrong and the burritos were abnormally small.

My burrito had jalapenos in it (which I never order), no lettuce, and what seemed to be one teaspoon of guacamole. Fiance's burrito was made with chicken instead of the beef, no jalapenos that he ordered, and not even a dab of guacamole. It seemed like most of the additions we usually get were either nonexistent, or applied in the most frugal fashion.

We ordered a bowl of queso to go with the chips, and instead we got the cup size, filled with what looked to be watered-down and pretty flavorless queso. We did not get what we paid for at all, and we're left feeling pretty ripped off.

All around, this was a pretty poor experience, and I don't think we'll be coming back to this location again. I'm only giving the two stars because at least the food was somewhat warm and on the shelf when I got there.

The food used to be great. They have gone steadily downhill over the past six months. Had a burrito tonight and the chicken was so overcooked, burnt, and shredded like shoe leather. It was horrible. Chips were overcooked and tasted like cardboard. Kept giving them chances, but won't go back again. And, that was supposed to be one of the best Moes locations.
Don't waste your money like I did.

Worst steak I've ever had (not seasoned at all), chips could've used more salt, they forgot our guac, and the tortilla was like a microwaved towel

They stole $70 from me, $90 of you count tip and refused to refund me my money. This was at Christmas time no less. Management is unresponsive.

Food quality wasn't great. Soda machine was out of ice, and soda button got stuck spiling soda everywhere

Food was typical for a Moe's
Pre ordered over an hour in advance and they still could not have the food ready on time (this is a problem with all Rochester area Moe's since the pandemic started and still continues)
1 of 3 orders was completely wrong (another ongoing pandemic issues at all Rochester Moe's)
I would stop going but my family insists it will get better, but for 10+ months it has only been getting worse

Went inside for lunch and noticed that none of the employees were wearing a mask. So we left and went to Chipotle's across the street, where all the employees were keeping us safe. Probably won't be ordering take out from Moe's again.

Food was good but the service was terrible, as soon as we walked in we were not greeted for a few minutes until the gentleman who was cleaning the dining area said the Moe's greeting. The girl that served us took a couple of minutes to finish doing what ever she was doing on her cell before turning to us. Her entire demeanor was as tho we were a nuisance to her. Although she was quick once she got started we still felt like the world's biggest bother. Not asking for much but a smile would help even her!

Food was decent! Enjoyed the taste and flavor, could have asked for more in the customer service department. Took about 5-7mins to get even a hello, no real greeting from the staff behind the counter but the gentleman cleaning the dining area seemed pleasant.

It's a nice, open, and clean Moe's with your typical Moe's menu. Our order was ready for pickup when they said it would be, and it was super hot in the bag. The food was as expected & everything seemed fresh, even at the relatively late hour we ordered. The past few times we've had food from this particular Moe's was for take out however, so I'll have to defer comment on the in-store dining experience for another time:)

Anytime you order from Moe's, there's half the order missing. We ordered three queso's, one was missing and they gave us maybe 15 chips for THREE QUESOS.ive worked in multiple restaurants and they never compensate for the missing food it's unbelievable. Probably will never order from Moe's again unless I can pick it up, sadly.

This Homewrecker Bowl today was totally perfect! My entire dinner was fantastic. The chicken, rice, and even tofu were tender and fresh. The tortilla chips were warm and not oversalted. The BEST Moe’s meal I’ve ever had.

Tremendous! This is our favorite Moe’s location for a variety of reasons: 1. Always clean! 2. Never mess up our orders 3. Food is always displayed tidily and presentable (for example, many other locations have food spilling from the sides or have clearly been sitting in their containers for hours). We came today and got our free Moe’s T-shirt with our purchases! It says “queso is a mood and a vibe! ” We love the Rochester City Skyline… how special! And the food was perfect as per usual. Best visit ever!
