The worst boba tea places. Ordered something and got completely something else. Tasteless. Asked to changed it she looked at us like she don’t know what we talking about. And said no at the end.

I made an order of mango green tea with lychee boba! But instead I got mango yakult tea with lychee jelly! When I asked them to remake my drink she insisted that she can’t remake it! We spent $25 only to get something we didn’t order. The person working doesn’t understand basic English either. I’d suggest not to get boba from here. Worst customer service ever!

First time coming here with my wife and wow, we are definitely coming back as soon as we can! Amazing flavors and equally amazing customer service!

I am normally pretty positive and excited about new places, but this?
Decorated nicely, but ordered at kiosk and despite no other customers the lady behind the counter seemed quite unhappy and got our order wrong; ordered it hot. Came completely cold. I don't think it was the right size. $10 for a tiny matcha cheese foam tea?
Sorry, but this felt like I and my girlfriend, who were really nice and excited to try this place, got bad service because we're round-eyes. The signs had kanji, so I smiled broadly and thanked the employee in Japanese to try to be nice, but employee looked at me like I was a toad; I'm seeing now that maybe the workers are Chinese. Didn't mean any offense, but either way I was totally turned off to going back, as was the girlfriend.

I'm not going back until I see legit reviews that it's getting better and I honestly think Moge Tea needs a solution to this if they want to remain in business in Albany. It's a chain, get it together, please.

Lots of variety I like that the kiosk ordering method lets me take my time to decide what I want. Quality of the beverages has been good so far. I've been twice.

TL: DR - Drinks are great but current customer service is awful, and disrespectful to your face. Until there’s turnover and better staff working here, avoid at all costs.

When this place opened, it was easily a 5 star shop. Good drinks, looks pretty, at the time great customer service, couldn’t complain about a thing.
That changed today. My gf put in a mobile order and I went to pick it up after work.
When I walked in, I went up to the counter and said I was picking up for (gf’s name). You’d think it would be as simple as taking the order and leaving, like most places. Well, there was a language barrier. So, it was not that simple. That was not the problem though, the problem was as there was no way for either of the girls behind the counter to understand me, and vice versa, they grew seemingly annoyed with me and started to laugh. I simply repeat “The mobile order for (gf), ” and one of the girls hid her face and laughed harder. There was a third woman in back that eventually came over, and with a less pervasive language barrier, realized what I was requesting and that eventually resolved the issue, albeit the two women at the counter were besides themselves by the time I left and the other seemed quite annoyed. I’ve never been treated like I was that much of an idiot/inconvenience for something as simple as picking up a mobile order. And, barring the language barrier, you don’t treat a customer like that… ever… you do not laugh at them like they are stupid and beneath you. That is pitiful customer service.
So… overall, while I wish I could recommend this place because after that, I still very much enjoyed the drink, I’d say avoid this place at all costs until this changes. It was much quieter in there since the last couple times I went and now I see why.

Toxic milk tea. They used expired milk causing me and my friend got acute gastroenteritis. I have been throwing up for three days. The worst experience I have ever met. No longer go there

The mango isn't in season so it was a bit sour. I had to eat the mango parfait with a fork/spoon.
I should've gotten boba/bubble with the oreo milk tea because without the boba, it wasn't as fun to drink. There were oreo bits in the drink, though.
The black sesame mochi milk was surprisingly good, we could've added brown sugar boba to make it better. Beside that, it was just milk and mochi.

It was hard to find anything positive about my experience here today. First of all, there seemed to be a glitch with the kiosk where after the rest of my company had ordered and paid, my order somehow didn’t make it through to the staff even though the screen said it was received and coming up after asking for my phone number and tip. After waiting around for a while, I brought it to the employees’ attention, and neither of them knew what I was talking about or seemed interested in helping me at all after explaining the situation multiple times. There seemed to be a language barrier and that’s understandable, but the energy was really cold and rude like I just was an inconvenience to them and they wanted me to go away and figure it out myself.

I went back to the screen to put my order in again myself since they seemed uninterested in amending the issue, and thankfully it went through that time. I ordered the superfruit green tea, which looked great presentation-wise with all the citrus pieces floating around but was a bit pulpy for my taste. I felt that it was expensive for what it was (a little over $10 with a standard tip), especially with the service I received.

I can’t speak in specifics for the rest of my company, but they had the cheese foam drinks and weren’t too fond of them…as longtime loyal customers of Short & Stout down the road we wanted to try something new, but will be sticking to our usual hangout from now on! I’m someone who rarely complains about businesses and almost feels bad writing this even though it’s just my experience, but still felt compelled to share to hopefully save someone else from similar disappointment.

This place was the worst tasting boba place. They got my order wrong 3 times, the drinks made me sick and tasted disgusting because of the amount of lime and lemon they added in the drink. Each menu had completely different drinks and there service was mad confusing. Thank you never coming back️

Amazing service, great price, wonderful cups and packaging, great flavor options, clean and vibrant setting, with kiosk ordering so I can practice social distancing! I'm so glad this place opened near by me and it will be a new staple for my weekly life.

Decided to check out this tea shop and ordered an earl grey boba tea with half sugar in English at the counter. The person at the counter looked confused and gesture towards the ordering kiosk- sure, not an issue. As I was using it, she told her coworker “She’s Chinese and doesn’t speak Chinese. ” It was rude and uncalled for, especially in a region where a large percentage of customers are English speakers. I turned to her and let her know (in Chinese) that I understood what she was saying and left the store. There is a Gongcha and Short and Stout a few blocks away with amazing customer service and delicious tea. Will be spending my money at those establishments instead.

Closed 15 mins early? Says closes at 9. We stand at the door for 5 mins but they don’t even care to look. When you say you close the store at 9, you are not supposed to lock the door. Atleast have some courtesy to respect your customers? Good Job… Great practice…. Never coming back again:)
