Mohawk Valley Counselling Associates reviews
7I have attended workshops at Mohawk Valley Counseling Associates. They were professional, knowledgeable, caring and extremely helpful. I felt free to share my personal experiences among the group. Thankful I had the opportunity to learn more about anxiety and fear in a safe and nurturing environment.
Mohawk Valley Counseling is one of my go to referral sources. Their therapists are skilled and welcoming. Highly recommend.
I am very grateful to Mohawk for the care and compassion I received.
I have teamed up with Mohawk Valley Counseling providing movement to process emotions and feelings that arise during the workshops. They are continually striving for excellence and furthering their education to offer the best service to their clients. I highly recommend!
My children were treated by Andrea Meier LCSW-R while she was at her previous agency and we followed her to the new agency. We love the work Andrea does. My son will do breathing exercises with her! She uses play therapy with him to model appropriate behavior and teach frustration tolerance. My daughter has anxiety and always has a sense of relief after her session. I could not say more positive things about Andrea and how good her work with my children is. She’s helped us immensely.
I have never seen a more flagrant undermining of the counseling process in my life. The lack of professionalism and integrity by a counselor here is appalling. I feel to blame for the injury this organization caused because I trusted the counselors here to be unbiased and truth-seeking. Counselors should have a desire to help their clients, not cause further harm. When two people attend for joint counseling, both people are the clients. Apparently a counselor here cannot keep her own, personal, biased opinions out of the session. Apparently, one counselor here believes that only one client's perspective matters. Do not use Mohawk Valley. Not recommended.
