Well, it was late Autumn when I visited, so the gardens were all prepared for Winter.

Be aware if you want to get her on Uber car - they will be charged $22 per person and you supposed to get this place by your feet (and this is not good idea to do this at at all)

The flowers and the location were beautiful. We hiked 6.5 miles from the parking lot to the gardens then mountain house hotel, then spent 30 mins on the lake in a paddle boat and finally hiked up to the Sky top look out.
