I cannot say enough positive things about Moishe’s Storage. I work for a nonprofit and I came to my company’s storage unit alone to accept a delivery of book donations. I was told it would be 6 pallets. It wound up being 15 pallets. They volunteered their time to unload the pallets off the truck (I didn’t have the right equipment either, so they already went above and beyond), helped me rearrange my storage unit to make sure all pallets would fit AND moved the pallets into my storage unit. I was about ready to cry 10 times today, and every single time the prevented that from happening, graciously helped me, and asked for nothing in return. They did this all free of charge. They were safe, professional, and kind. Today happens to be world kindness day, and my god, did they go above an beyond ALL DAY — literally since they opened til close to help me get all the books in my unit. Because of them, tens of thousands of kids in NYC hospitals and clinics will be receiving new books. If you’re looking for a place to store your belongings or help you move, I can not recommend them enough. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Where do I begin (part two). After my moving fiasco and after reading my first review Moishe’s tried to make it right by calling me immediately and offering me a free month of storage given the horrible experience I had moving in, which I appreciated. However, I knew it was too good to be true and sure enough this month my credit card was charged for the upcoming month even though I was told over the phone and have in email that I was receiving a free month. So today I called customer service and the woman on the phone begins with well ‘I have no record of this in the system and after all your pick up was free and I signed a waiver’. Not sure how signing a waiver has any relevance to what I was calling about. I had to tell her that this specific rep called me and emailed me regarding my free month from the horrible pick up experience. She asked that I forward the email communication which I did and I asked for her to give me a call back once it was sorted out which of course I never did. This company has zero regard for what customer service and customer satisfaction mean and any person I have spoken/dealt with through this whole nightmare experience has had the biggest attitude. With the hundreds of moving companies in NYC you will want to save yourself a headache and go with some other company that actually cares about customer service and satisfaction. I wish I would have taken all the negative reviews here more seriously because it’s just horrible.

Worst place to store your valuables, made it really hard for my mother and grandmother to exchange their names for the storage garage. Went there 3 times to resolve an issue I have seen in another storage places take a few minutes. They must not know their own procedures as they kept making my mother come back time and time again giving her different information each time. Do not recommend.

Moishes in LIC is a safe, clean, climate-controlled storage facility. I have never seen any insects or rodents in their building, nor has any of my property been damaged while I was a tenant. The staff is very helpful and has great customer service skills. I made a great choice when I chose Moishes!

My Aunt was threated by one of the staff members at this location. Even went as far as to take this matter to corporate and spoke with Boaz Likaont, and still was no help on solving this matter. He denied the fact that one of his employees would make such a statement. Overall experience with this company has not been good at all. I would recommend taking your need for storage elsewhere.

It's a good location but they keep raising the rent unfair tactic especially in times odof COVID-19 pandemic without a way to pay. Why did they raise my payments instead of either keeping it the same or helping?

Overall a good experience although the elevators have been not working fully lately. I’d advise potential customers to try and negotiate a fixed price (price guarantee) though. They have a way of raising their prices each year at a rate way about inflation. This seems to be standard practice of most storage companies.

Make sure to keep your credit card up to date in their system as they charger ridiculously (should be illegal!) high late fees.

Lastly, their App is terrible and needs an overhaul. It didn’t take my credit card info properly and then they ended up charging me the insane late fees. I argued with them and had them waive it (the late fee) so at least they did that.

So unhappy. Will never use again.

While the movers who showed up on Move day were wonderful (and we know that is freelance has NOTHING to do with Moishes), I have not been able to get my inventory from Moishes since move in date almost a month ago. Account rep where you at?

No one responsible for my account has called to check in on me or confirm the list of items (the list provided by movers is illegible).

I was never given a note about what locker I had been given. No emails or communication from my account rep.

I just wonder if that's how it works over there. Calling a month later to get the inventory list and none of the numbers I call can help provide me with this info. Not the person who answers the 718 number at the LIC location where I'm paying $$$ to have my items stored, and certainly not the email Chat box (they refer me to the 718 # and 800#, that's all they can do) nor the 800#. They basically leave a message for the one person who can help. Who is not in the office until close to lunch time today. I asked the person on the phone that I spoke to at 8am to please email me confirmation of the move out date and our conversation - she said she would. Never did.

I find that inexcusable and ridiculous that no one can help or email me until this person comes in for their shift.

We needed storage for a few months after we moved to the City. We were so pleased with our clean unit and the friendly helpful staff. The 2 hour free parking helped enormously with loading and unloading our goods, We always felt safe in the elevators and corridors and we met very interesting people as well!

Great storage but there is something very, very bad with Moishes, is the rent!
Every 2-3 months, the rent is increasing?
At the end of the year you have to move from one unit to another unit smaller!
This is not professional at all!
We should sign a contract about that.
But otherwise well organized, very neat!

The free pick up service was amazing and so valuable to me. The two drivers were the best movers I have ever seen. They were on time and courteous. They packed my unit. The staff at the location were also great. I love how Moishe makes storage easy. The storage facility is clean and spacious.

Beware of the estimate process. I ended up paying much more than quoted. They charged me for boxes-they boxed everything when I thought they were blanket wrapping. The delivery men did work very diligently and quickly, however the estimate was well above what was quoted.

This seemed a good deal when we signed up, but it seems like a scam. They hike up the rent $5-$10 every 2 months banking on fact that it's difficulto move all of your things. We started at $70 and now pay $130+. I found a much better deal for the same unit at $68/month and they are willing to lock in that rate for a year. Do your research. Moishe's is charging us $700 extra a year and I finally put an end to it.

Moishe's is incredibly clean, safe and professional. Their rates are reasonable and their people are understanding and helpful. They miss 5 stars because they close too early. While I respect a company with good hours for their employees, their early closing time meant that I had to take a second day off work and extend my truck rental after my movers were late. Apart from that I definitely recommend Moishe's.

Our move was made easier due to the efficiency of Moishe's. The men arrived and got the entire job done in record time! All of the furniture was well wrapped and taken care of. They even took apart the crib for us! My husband and I were shocked by how easy they made the move out to be - we are so thankful we booked these movers and would definitely recommend and use again in the future.
