Mongo's Coffee Roastery & Lounge reviews
15Great place pleasant staff and an expert barista poured a perfect latte with some art too. Interior is a commercial space. Plenty of seating and a large roaster. Very nice!
Lovely roaster and coffee shop slightly off the beaten path, but really worth a visit. I had a pour over of a lighter roast and it was pleasant. I'm so glad I found a new local near me.
Gem of a place. Too many things to elaborate on. Will likely see me there with my golden retriever puppy ^^
Absolutely love it here, the atmosphere is awesome, and the wifi is great! Theyre drinks and food are also better than many cafe’s ive been to— i would recommend headphones because it could get noisy at times
Had toast with granola and peanut butter and broccoli/ cheddar quiche.
Iced chai latte- delish
Matcha- delish
Latte- delish
Not only are the drinks/ coffee good but owner goes above and beyond!
2nd time here. It'll be a go-to for me when I'm on long Island. Outstanding joint! Proper coffee spot! The people, coffee, vibes and decor are all on point. The baristas know what's up. If you care at all about coffee then you should check Mongos out. I pull my own espresso at home w a proper grinder + e61 machine. Rarely am I happy w local coffee shops. Mongos is a rare exception.
Consistently a great experience and the quality of the coffee speaks for itself. Flat white and old school sandwich are the easy go-to options, but never had a bad drink or meal here. Whole staff is chill and knowledgeable about all things coffee. Highly recommend!
Person helping me didn’t even say two words to me, horrible customer service. I want to like the place but the service was absolutely horrible.
One of the coolest coffee shop/roasters on Long Island - everything is done out in the open and plenty of space to hang.
Cute little hidden gem for studying or working. I honestly don't know the menu well but I'd still recommend if you are looking for a cafe to work out of.
Cozy albeit crowded due to popularity. So worth the experience though.
Bring friends, family, etc. Or just yourself and a book. The atmosphere is so so comfy and warm. Pastries/baked goods are pretty tasty and there’s a wide selection, coffee and food also yummy.
(has nondairy/vegan options for both food and beverages, however unsure about pastries)
I have been going to Mongo's since they opened. Their coffees, bakes goods and sandwiches are top notch. Mitch and the entire staff are a great team and do an outstanding job. Bring home the whole beans and make yourself some great pour over coffees. All of the varieties are always fresh and roasted perfectly!
Great spot. Place is roomy and well laid out. Staff was courteous and professional. Coffee was on point. Best Avocado toast on the Island
Mongo’s always delivers a delicious brew. Great spot, big and open floor plan, plenty of space for the family and friends. Baked goods always fresh and amazing. Highly recommend checking out this coffee shop in Syosset.
Great coffee and food selection, awesome atmosphere, lots of seating. Tucked away in a bit of an odd area, but totally worth it.
