Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers, Cicero NY

I had an appointment this AM to get my car inspected that I made the night before. I arrived 15 minutes early only to hear he only had 1 tech available due to a call in (understandable). Asked me if I could drop it off which was not an option. He said it was just hisself and the other tech working but when I arrived he was sitting on his butt in the lobby and when I pulled away he went right back to the lobby sitting on his butt doing nothing. He supposedly couldn’t find my appointment in the system when I said “if you couldn’t fit me in or were going to be backed up a courtesy call would have been great before I came in” that’s when he said your information is not in the system. But whomever took it the night before read it back to me to confirm he had it correctly. I was also going to get a quote for my breaks bc they will need to be done in the next year but that’s a no go now. So here I sit at valvoline down the street for the next 1.5-2 hours. Complete nonsense.

Left all the caps off, brake fluid, coolant! Went in for inspection, oil change end of June was advised needed brakes & rotors, now brake fluid is all over my driveway.

Made an appointment ahead of time for an inspection, arrived to be rudely told 'we are too busy can't you see every lift is full', when I told him I had an appt and had planned on waiting (which I indicated on the appt when it offered waiting), he then told me 'go drop your car over there it'll be at least a few hours' & 'we do drop-offs only I haven't had anyone wait in over 4 years'. I had to leave since I didn't have a ride, I asked if I could make an appointment for the next available waiting, and he told me 'make an apt for whenever you want but we are busy and you'll have to drop it off. I had taken time off work, changed plans, etc.to drive out for this, I completely understand being busy and understaffed, however you shouldn't offer waiting appointments when you aren't able/willing to accommodate them and waste a paying customers time.

Management staff is great.very accommodating. Appointment was going to run longer, they offered a ride back too the office.called me when it was done, offered to pick me up.got a ride for a office mate. Car is running and stopping great.staff deserves a raise!

Great place.great people, fast service, no appt they took me right in.manager and staff were great.very insightful. Highly recommend if I need of automotive repairs quick

Had to remove my 5 stars from years ago after calling in and saying I'd need to wait with my car for inspection. "Alright we can do that 'x' day in the morning. " Morning comes, and sure enough like other reviews say, "we're backed up you need to leave it and it'll be done in a few hours, " after speaking on the phone I don't have a ride and need to wait with it. "It's been this way for two years, " alright, it's been that way for everybody during covid, but covid's over, so don't tell us it's fine to wait for our cars then give us attitude when we say we're gonna wait there for our car.

Made an appointment ahead of time, was very clear I was getting my oil changed and couldn't leave my truck due to the fact I was going to be omw home and roughly 25 miles from home! I was going to wait for them to do it, was very clear over the phone. I show up to this place @ 3: 50 for my 4: 00 appointment, this guy gives me attitude, he said to me " man all my lifts are full and I can't get you in for atleast an hour call back and set up another time and leave the truck with us "! I used to live near this place so I had them do stuff all the time, appears to be under new management nowadays. I cancelled other plans, and drove out of my way to keep an appointment with these guys just to be given the runaround
