We were very happy with the service we received. Omar was extremely accommodating, squeezing us into his schedule, as we were visiting from Michigan and needed the vehicle fixed to drive back home after my daughter's wedding in NY. He told us the car was not safe to be driving with the wheel bearing as it was and stayed late to get it fixed for us so we would not have to stay another day. Highly recommend Monroe Muffler and Brake!

I had a nail in my tire (I did not know) it was losing air everyday. They plugged it said it was covered because I bought my tires there and in 10 minutes I was back on the road a very happy customer.

This location is where I’ll always go! Omar always goes above and beyond. He really helped me out of a jam yet again. I highly recommend this location and Omar the manager!

UPDATE: 7.20.23

Called on 7.17.23 for an appt. For annual auto inspection. Booked for Thursday. Showed up 5 minutes early. Manager at the desk asked, "Are you so and so? " He said I tried to call you early this am to let you you know that NYS has their vehicle inspection equipment down and we can't do your inspection. He said he tried calling a few times before 7: 00 am. Checked the phone for messages or missed calls. None there. This was at 2: 00 pm. And he didn't know when it would be up and running.after all it was the state's equipment. Uh hu. He said it would probably be up by Monday. Again uh hu. Made another appointment for Monday and left, went down the street to Insta Lube, asked if the state's equipment was down. He said no. The inspection was completed in 15 minutes. Asked the very nice gentleman why would Monroe say the equipment was down. He said they probably can't be bothered doing state inspections for a NYS mandated 10.00 charge.

I would never recommend MONROE MUFFLER, Camp Road for any service.if the manager would be untruthful for a 10 00 dollar job, can you image what he potentionally would say about a large repair job? Food for thought. This review should suffice as my cancelation for the Monday appt.

In and out.not a long wait and the manager is earthy and conducive to good business relationships. He explained the inspection process and checked an issue I thought I had, which turned out to not be. And he explained the mechanics of the unfounded issue.

Reliable and reasonable shop that came highly recommended and helped us in a pinch. Omar and crew took care of our family's van - an ignition coil failed - and got us back on the road before lunch. They took the time to teach me a little bit about the problem and were able to find a part across town to save our road trip.

I always take my vehicles back to Monroe. They are absolutely phenomenal and are one of the few places you do not get ripped off at. Omar is great and super reasonable and responsive!

I heard a squeaking in my car. Stopped in and asked if they could take a look. 20 mins later Omar comes out and tells me the front pads and rotors need to be replaced. It would be roughly $600. I reached out to social media and a friend messaged me saying he could help me out. He ordered me parts and we made plans. A few days later my car completely broke down. The serpentine belt broke. Thankfully my friend could also fix that. So I had my car towed to him and when he pulled the tires off my brakes were not bad. Not even close. The pads have plenty of life and the rotors are good. I am SEVERELY disappointed in them and the fact I was lied to. The squeaking I heard was most likely the belt/pulley system starting to loosen up. I will never be back and have been a customer for more years than I care to admit when I consider how much money I wasted there.

Had to take my car in for a couple things, they pointed out other things I needed, which I did, only took a couple hours and the main guy omar is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. If my house was on fire I’d probably call omar. If aliens said take me to your leader, I’d take them to omar at Monroe muffler and brake on camp road.

Booked a motorcycle inspection online because it didn’t tell me no. Unfortunately when I got the the nice gentleman who work there told me they don’t do motorcycles inspections and gave me a few referral on where to get ine

Very disappointed regular customer. I always go here for my oil changes and have never had a problem. Staff is usually very kind and get me in and out for my scheduled appointments. However, my last visit they attempted to rotate my tires; had 3 of the 4 tires off and said they could not complete it because one of my lug nuts was stripped on front driver side and would have to cut it off and break the stud- I told them not to because I needed to replace the front brakes anyway so I would just do it at home on my own. They put the the 3 other tires back on, (starting the nut the with the impact gun!). And stripped 4 more lug nuts that I just needed to cut off and replace studs for now between the front passenger and driver side.so I am assuming the rear tires will have to have most replaced too.
So now, after just spending $110 on my oil change, it has now cost me another $100+ buying two 5 pack studs/nuts plus my labor time.very very disappointing.

Very helpful and fast with repairs. Always dependable and good work done to cars. Omar is also very knowledgeable and happy to help customers.

You guys are the only mechanics I will go to. Every time I've gone to this location I've gotten treated with respect and the conversations are just amazing. Everyone there made me feel welcomed and if I had any questions they answered it!
