BUYER BEWARE!
A few months ago we took our vehicle there for back brakes. They charged us over $500.00 + for a set of pads and supposedly new rotors. Looking at the bill, they charged $350.00 for 2 rotors, which we could have purchased at retail at less than $200.00. Keep in mind that garages get there parts at discounted prices.

A couple of thousand miles later, we took our vehicle back there due to a grinding in the back wheels. We told the manager that we wanted an estimate before any work was done. He called back and said that we needed calipers for a total of $783.00. I asked how much the calipers cost and he told me$250.00 each. I looked online and my retail price was $48.00 each. I asked how he could justify a 400% markup on a retail part and he said 'all businesses mark up prices' and walked out of the office. I recommend to go elsewhere or you are going to get RIPPED OFF!

UPDATE: We called Mavis Tire and there price was $450.00 with tax.

I went for a car inspection, and the guy inspecting my car was a money grabber. He said i wouldn’t pass with my back tires and i argued with him about the tires because he proceeded to tell me it wouldn’t pass without new back tires and the more expensive option was the best option when back tires weren’t needed.

Kevin worked with me on the issues from the tires I had installed at Walmart. Little did I know that Walmart tires are specifically made for Walmart and even though I got Goodyear tires they are not good Goodyear tires at all. About a month and a half after getting the tires on I returned to work and was driving daily, which I was then noticing issues with handling, loud road noise and pulsation in the peddles while driving. The faster I drove the worse it was. After calling Walmart 4 times, then calling Goodyear and being denied a claim so I could get different legit good tires, I brought my car here for tire balance and to check them out and make sure there is no issue. Kevin was great the entire time, answered my questions, went above and beyond for me and after a week of stressful calls and round and round I feel like someone finally is listening and understanding. Kevin threw in a free tire rotation as well, which was so nice of him to do! Not only did they get me in within 30 minutes of calling them but they were wonderful to work with and I really appreciate both Kevin and Destiny's help with everything and for also listening to my rant of what I've dealt with all week. All this to say, don't go to Walmart for tires even if it saves you money. Go somewhere reputable like Monroe and pay the extra to have peace of mind!

Wow! I had a bad feeling when I first spoke to Kevin Taylor the Manager and should of not ever went to the appointment that I made. We talked Thursday morning and we agreed to an appointment for around noon on the same day. We showed up at 12: 10 PM on that day and no one could find the appointment, The manager walked in and remember he talked to me but told the gentleman helping me he told me around noon. 12: 10 PM, I thought was around noon. I was puzzled and we moved on and the Car was brought in. My son was away for 6 months and was just back and we need to get this car working for the most inexpensive way we can. I had luck at this store in the past but before it became the current Manager store (He referred to the Store, as His). It was decided that the car needed around $400.00 of work and arts needed to be ordered and we made an appointment for 9/6/2023 (Today). We agreed that I was going to drop the car of Tuesday the night before. The Manager explained to me how a key drop worked and how to complete the paperwork and that I needed to be detailed so he needed to know what to do. My reply to him was, "I thought you had to order parts". The Manager reply was, "Well yes but I need the details, so I know what to do". ODD. SO, the car was dropped off and I was able to complete the paperwork, Lucky I had directions. I received a call from The Manager but missed it and called back soon after. The Manager asked me if I knew there was a gas leak, I stated no. It has stayed in the same spot for 6 months with no gas leak. It was driven to Monro for the first visit and then home, No leak. The Manager stated he cannot work on it with a gas leak. I asked if he could fix it and he stated he does not fix gas leak. I told Kevin this is how I thought it would go and told him I would pick up the vehicle. I picked up the vehicle at 4: 30 PM and inspected the spot it was parked, No Gas Leak. I then inspected the spot it was parked overnight, No Gas leak. I went to the counter and Kevin was not around, but a Monro employee waited on me. I asked about the gas leak and they could never find a leak but smelled a leak, HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. As i left I took the customer complaint number down and called but the extension didn't work but I waited on hold for 15 minutes and hung up. I also want to add this, I was waiting at the first visit and a young lady came in for an oil change. She had an appointment and was on time but not the right appointment according to The Manager. She made the appointment online or with an app and had confirmation. She was turned away because Corporate does not know what they are doing, and they overbooked over his schedule. Other people came and he was just as not helpful and was too busy.

My girlfriends mom just brought her truck here to get a oil change and a tire rotation, after leaving it was found that the rear tire was not installed correctly the lug nuts wer not tightened, and they took 0 responsibility. Now her mother has to find a new rim and tire get a new wheel bearing and new lug nuts. I've worked in shops for 18yrs.this is the worst service I've seen.

Very disappointed. Put lug nuts on that didn't fit properly and didn't say anything. When I called them I was spoke to like I was stupid. Will never go there again.

Had an oil change, inspection and tire rotation done. Very pleased with how quickly they got me in and hardly any wait time and the staff was very courteous.

Great Job! Very satisfied. The manager Kevin was the 3rd person/3rd auto shop I went to concerning my front brakes. The 1st was the dealer service that on a routine maintenance told me I needed front Brakes and rotors. With only 20,000 miles on my vehicle I said I would shop around. I am so glad I kept looking for the right place to have this work done. I feel Kevin was honest with me on why my pads wore out so fast. Also rotors can be turned. They are not disposable each time you change pads. Get the right shop and a tech who knows how to machine down the rotors properly which Kevin is. He also told me to get my brakes serviced yearly to avoid the caliper freezing up causing one brake pad to be pressed against the rotor and wearing down quickly. Reminder that this vehicle has gone through dealer maintenance inspections and they never mentioned that was a problem. They just kept telling me I would need a brake job soon and within 1 year it was" you need brakes and rotors. " Thank you Kevin. Keep being honest with your customers.

Brought car to Monroe, because it was loud. Five hundred dollars later, it was still loud. 1 month later, the whole exhaust falls off. They did NOT do the work they claimed to. These people are liars and thieves. The work they supposedly performed, had to be done by a different shop. I would suggest doing the work yourself or taking it to a different shop.

Great customer service! I went in with what I assumed was a brake issue but turned out to be the tie rods. Even though it was an unexpected expense, I appreciate the quick and friendly service! Thank you!
