Montauk Point Lighthouse Museum reviews
4 Beautiful view.but closed in winter. There is a rough trail over large boulders around the entire lighthouse.
Lots of othef trails in the area. Bathrooms were open and super clean.
Nice place to visit, but traveling to Long Island from Connecticut is very expensive now. The ferry cost (per vehicle) is about $100 one way!
We visited the place the day before New Year's Eve, finding the lighthouse closed. While the lighthouse provides a vibrant ambiance reflecting the Atlantic, there is no dedicated beach area. Unfortunately, there are no food stalls near the lighthouse. However, a paid restroom is available on the opposite side of the lighthouse.
It was closed over christmas so couldn't visit. Couldn't even walk around the lighthouse it was all fenced off.
