Absolutely the worst er I've ever been in. Slow beyond belief. Two hours just to read by scan. Seems to be understaffed big time. People are all sitting in halls laughing hacking throwing up. Wish there was another option near by.

If I could give negative stars, that’s what this place would rate. This has to be the worst hospital I’ve ever ever been to. I went there the day after Thanksgiving due to a broken hand that I broke on Thanksgiving. Upon arrival I was made to stand there and wait at the window for about 20 minutes because nobody was there. Then I was taken back where the nurse was rude put inappropriate and unprofessional things in my chart, the doctor basically told me it’s not his problem anymore that I need to see somebody else did nothing for me. I called today to see if maybe there was something else I could do or talk to a nurse to find a different different hospital that might be able to help or a different provider and the receptionist told me that the nurses have a job in the last thing they need is a patient bothering them Even after being told that my hand is getting significantly worse. Something about a substance-abuse with brought up, and I had never asked for pain medication. I’ve been sitting here in excruciating pain just trying to get my hand fixed to which this hospital is failing to do. The staff just sit around in the hallways, talking about their personal lives, and their sex lives, which is so inappropriate nurse sit there and flirt with male staff touching them right in front of you. Meanwhile you’re not being seen. People are screaming, and Painting people are waiting. I have never met such unprofessional and uncaring medical staff in my life.

Hospital needs to not have heat on 80 degrees in the rooms. Literally sweating and they won’t do anything

My father had a heart attack years ago and went to this emergency room with similar symptoms. He was there for FOUR HOURS with no medical attention and no doctor saw him. Just had bloodwork drawn & an ekg 3 hours in. The amount of neglect shown to what could possibly have been a life threatening situation for him is shameful! This ER is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I will never send anyone I love here ever again. He is going to a hospital today that will actually care about him. Do better.

EDIT: It was a heart attack he had and this ER completely overlooked it. Luckily we found him a medical center that could save his life. I repeat, do not take anyone in a life threatening situation to this ER. They told him his blood & ekg were normal. Shame on all of you. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Sometimes the ER is so crowded that people, including myself, are in the halls. But that crowding is not caused by the staff. The hospital needs a much larger ER.could use double the space.
I marvel at the ER staff.competent and respectful even in super crowded conditions. And they have an ability to deal with a great variety of people - from wailing children through some elders who find it difficult to understand all of what is happening as well as persons who are not fluent in English and some adults who do not understand the concept of triage and who seem to think that they should have priority over others. Then there are police assigned to some patients/rooms that brings a law enforcement air, not just healing, to the ER.
The ER staff deals with all of this with calmness and competence. I, like others, trust my life to their care.whether I am there with soaring blood pressure, an infection or a cardiac emergency I know I am in good hands and dealing with people willing to answer my questions. I think that when St. Luke's builds its extension and the ER has room to expand and set its arrangements so as to facilitate the work of care givers, it will be a good day for all.
Meantime I, for one, am grateful for all who work in the ER.

Left my father sitting in a hallway screaming in pain. Didn't even get him a blanket he was freezing.

Any other place would've admitted him. This is my 1st and last time coming here. Would give it a negative 5 if I could.

I waited for them to bring me a bed for my baby for around 20 minutes, I had to set her on the dirty floor because they kept asking me to fill out the paperwork.
