Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery, Seneca Falls NY

Spent the weekend in Cooperstown and made a trip to Montezuma Winery. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we were treated like royalty. Beth, Tionna and Jeff served us and they were absolutely amazing. Gave us a wealth of information about the town and where to go for dinner. If you make only one stop on the Cooperstown Beverage Trail, make Montezuma Winery your choice!

Good wines (large variety too), friendly staff, sanitary pours, and a large gift shop. They are also in the process of putting an addition onto their building. I was here for a wine trail event but would definitely return.

Great tasting, lots of options, got to pick wines and they also had liquor tasting. Explanations and service were excellent, best tasting we've done so far.

It's a nice winery. A bit congested but the apparent construction appears that the winery is under expansion. I personally found the wine expensive for the quality. But I recommend visiting it and judge for yourself. I purchased an $18 bottle of chardonnay and extremely disappointed.

The wines were delicious. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely will be back.

This was a fun winery/distillery to visit. They have wine tastings, spirit tastings, and slushie flights. The location was beautiful and the woman who served my husband and I was so friendly and knowledgeable. There are lots of little gifts and signs available to purchase as well. I really liked their Fat Frog Red and Fat Frog White Peach. The prices were reasonable and they also have a nice patio to sit outside.

This is a cute little spot. We were helped by Anne and she was absolutely wonderful! Visiting from Houston, she was very helpful with her suggestions on places to go and see. I had a wine tasting and my husband has a spirit tasting. We enjoyed both!

This winery is located at the top of Cayuga Lake in the finger lakes of upper NY. They are in the process of a huge expansion. They have wine, knick knacks, bourbon, and tastings in the current building. The new addition will house the wine side of this place for tastings and purchases with the addition of breads. The existing structure will have the distillery and spirits side. If you like knick knacks and wine, you'll need to stop in.

Lovely tasting area and gift shop. Lots of flavors and options to choose from. Something for everybody. Had a great experience!

So happy to finally have been able to see Montezuma Winery with MY OWN EYES! I was so excited to meet the sweetest staff- Mary, Lisa and Kyle- after my son proposed to our Olivia! It was an amazing experience! We had a wine flight that was excellent-bought 2 bottles of what we had sampled and sending Olivia my Christmas list to get the rest. I must have circled the shop 12 times- each time finding more gifts for the family. One tee shirt is going to Oklahoma to Olivia's future sister in law! I really hope I will be back to see the expansion. It sounds and looks so impressive.
And now, for the best- MY PEACH SLUSHIE from the truck! My mouth waters every time you post something about the slushies! I was NOT DISAPPOINTED at all! It was the best thing on a warm day. My only slight disappointment- I didn't meet Jake. But I probably would have fainted with all that excitement! Thank you- what a wonderful time we had! We loved their Drumlin wine. Montezuma was our first stop on our Finger Lakes wine tasting tour. My wife and I had a tasting and bought a bottle. On our way home we went back to Montezuma and bought 3 more bottles. Can't wait to visit the new tasting room when it opens.

Had a great visit and tasting. Wine was excellent! My husband and I came across so many new wines that we loved. We took home a case but will definitely be back. Also, great souvenirs! I bought 4 beautiful wood carved birds that are so lovely. Wonderful place. Also, staff couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. A keeper!

A cozy winery and distillery with a nice selection of both wines and spirits. They mostly have some fun sweet wines, and a few drinkable dry ones as well.

Have to say that this is the first time out of at least 4 visits to either this location or the one in Cooperstown, that we felt like we were the inconvenience. Did our tasting and the young woman was more interested in the two guys drinking down the bar. Showed no interest in us or talking about the wines. Will avoid this location and next time will go to Cooperstown spot where we enjoyed the person behind the counter. Sad to see other reviewers feeling the same way. Even when we asked where something was, she just pointed to it’s location so she would not be distracted from two guys. Very sad, won’t be wasting my time going back.

To add to this I don’t feel you take my review serious as you didn’t even respond with my name correctly. If you can’t pay attention to those small details, you probably won’t take customer interaction seriously.
