34Went there for Schenectady Restaurant Week.very disappointed in the results.food with cold best part about it was the bread
Surprisingly very good. Great choices and portions for the Price Fix Valentine's dinner. Really enjoyed the experience. Our server was attentive and very nice. We will be back. Thank you.
Fantastic food. I highly suggest the octopus salad and mango gelato. Or try a dessert from the bakery next door, same own, best cannoli in town
They sat my son and I at a table that was reserved. Towards the end of our meal we were asked to hury up because of that reseravation. The place was empty when we walked in. The uniform of the elderly women that severed us was discussing. Don't need to spend my money where the lack of training exist. Two thumbs down.
Worst meal EVER. I have always loved Pereccas and recommended people to go there all the time. My husband and I had gone there for Sunday dinner and had scallops which were not fully cooked and Utica greens which were horrendous. Even my desert was a a dried out piece of chocolate cake. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
Perraca’s is the best Italian food you can get in Schenectady, take it from this Italian girl who loves her Italian food! Whenever we have family in from out of town, we make sure to bring them here and they are never disappointed. The service is on point with professional and friendly waitstaff. We always have a lot of questions and they take the time to answer and explain things to us. We have never had to wait or call for reservations, making Perreca’s so accommodating and easy to visit. Put it on your list!
Went to More Perreca's for the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas. The fish was cooked well overall, the fish appetizer was fried wonderfully. The mussels were also delicious. However, it was clear that the main fish pasta was cooked hours ago because the noodles were stuck to each other and hard. Also, the mussels and clam shells were all cracked so i was worried the whole time about biting a shell. Lastly, the garlic aioli dipping sauce was too heavy and overpowering.
Excellent brunch spot. Their bread is made in the same building! Delicious Italian bread. Their frittatas are spectacular too. And don't sleep on the eggs in purgatory.
What a place what a genuine staff, helpfull kind just a great place to have lunch dinner or even as I did get a sandwich from their bakery right st the next door and take it to the resturant and enjoy it. Jyst a fabulous place to visit.
The staff is very accommodating. The food is prepared very well and timely delivered even when it is busy. I recommend the eggs in purgatory dish and the wild mushroom frittata. Great place for brunch on Sunday.
I have been eating Perrecas bread since I was a little girl and my Dad would take us in the morning to get it hot from the oven. The cupcakes they sell are the only ones I will but now. Delicious frosting and always satisfying. People with negative reviews should eat elsewhere so we can truly appreciate it here
I ate at the restaurant tonight. I wanted to leave after seeing the dirty utensils. But my sister said just to ask for clean ones. So we received 2 new sets without food stuck to them. My mom and I ordered eggplant parm n spaghetti. The spaghetti was the worse pasta n sause I have ever had in my life. I just hope I don't get ill from this experience. Worried.
Eggplant Panini Pie was delicious.
Sausage and Peppers sandwich is the best.
Server was a delightful.
Gave a bunch of old friends times to visit.
Was very helpful
Always a good time. I will say this tho, their paninis are yuck. The half off wine wednesdays paired with some amazing bread is awesome though! Hope they stay open a while
Awesome! Went to the Italian Fest. Had there Eggplant Parmesan! Went into the store purchased bread, cupakes an sauce! Yummy!
Food and service are still great, however salads are no longer included with the meal and the prices have increased alot since my last visit
Not only was the food amazing, but our waiter was excellent, (even though i almost knocked him out as i was talking with my hands). The apple cake was an unusual choice for me and I'm so glad I tried it! A delicious change from my typical chocolate. Will be back soon!
Love coming here. The eggs in pergitory are the signature dish and it does not disappoint! Such a flavor explosion for the taste buds. Try it here and you definitely will in breakfast heaven. Buon appetito!
A friendly Italian restaurant with delicious bread. The pasta dishes are on the small side, meant to be shared almost tapas style. There is a brand new menu (not even on their website yet, at the time of posting) and it's amazing. My family and I tried about half of the menu, and I can't get over the spaghetti e funghi and the wild mushroom fondue (I like mushrooms). The house made pasta is VERY good and worth the price.
Amazing food, wine, dessert, and service. Best dinner out we've had in years. We'll be back soon!
