Moreau Lake State Park reviews
17Such a wonderful family place to go. I really enjoy how they have it laid out. The playground near the beach area, but the beautiful paths a bit off. Paths are nicely cleared. People were keeping their distance and still very polite. The fish weren't biting, but the beautiful day kept the smiles on. And for the seniors, no cost to get in during the week days.
I'm from Florida up for a visit. Had the best time there. So clean the staff was so professional. Your exhibits were amazing thanks much. Tom
Great park! Campgrounds are clean and well spaced out, beach is nice, plenty of trails to hike, and bath houses are clean. Study the trail mail well, it can be a bit confusing getting from the far camp loops to the beach. Enjoy!
I've been a regular swimmer here for over 30 years. Never had a bad experience! Clean friendly safe! Great family place.
My go-to beach destination. I go here every summer and i always have fun there with all the stuff to do. From swimming to the nature center, theres something for everyone there
Not a huge fan of the park or beach water always has issues from swimmers itch to algae levels to high not a risk I want to take to enjoy the summer
Really nice staff, great park to have fun in and kayak or hike (or both). Sites are very nice and also very large. Our site was a corner site and we had utmost privacy. Ice and firewood are also very reasonably priced. What a great camping trip, I will be back soon.
This is my home away from home, especially since the pandemic. It's my local escape for serenity and beauty of the great outdoors. It's my playground in paradise.
It was crowded on Saturday when.we arrived, but on Sunday it's near empty.the grounds are nice, clean and paved.the lake is beautiful and the beach and boat launch are very nice.
Great park! Love the beach area, plenty of space, lots of room for big groups! So many trails! Clean and well-maintaned! 5 stars!
Went fishing didn't catch anything so no pictures place seemed nice not really a fan of places that close the gates at three pm
Moreau Lake is a beautiful park. Unfortunately, the staff is very nasty & rude. Front desk girl was nasty and unprofessional. Park patrol was nasty as well. Albeit, we arrived late due to unforeseen circumstances. But the staff was very un-understanding and basically didn’t want us to set up our tents or talk because it was past 10 pm.
P.s we will not be returning.
Very nice place. The only issue I had was that my wife and cousin's wife said the ladies room they used was not kept too clean.
Well maintained park with helpful, friendly staff. Dogs are welcome at beach, but not in the main area, which was perfect. We had privacy, peace. Perfect.
Love this park. Beautiful hikes, great for quiet paddling (no motorized watercraft), really nice campsites. One of my favorite places to go!
This is a nice park with a nice beach. Cool thing is off to the side of the beach you can walk about 40 yards out an still be ankle deep in water on the sand bar and then 5' over you can be in 5' of water. Good place to kayak. There are cabins to rent and camp sites. Had a great time hanging out at the beach.
Always fun. Sorry to see that millefeuille weed has worked it's way into this lake, probably from unsuspecting kayakers and small rafts that were in Saratoga lake or lake Champlain.
