Mortalis Brewing Company

I am very impressed with the service and experience I had when I visited the brewery today. They went out of there way to accommodate a unusual request I had. They had no obligation to help me out but they chose to anyway. These days it’s very tough to find businesses like this, ran and brewed by great people. Not to mention, this is by far the best micro brewery when it comes to its products. Try them you won’t be disappointed, I guarantee it. I have seen a few reviews that people complained about the price. Disregard those, if you want the best, you pay for the best, thats life.

I live in Minnesota and recently purchased HYDRAfrom a local craft brew dispensary by the name of Jacks Bottle Shop. I am absolutely in love with this brew! The best sour I have had to date. Keep brewing the good stuff. New life long customer here!

Dank brew! I'm able to grab some cans from the local market here in Oregon and never a disappointment. I mainly drink hazys but my buddy also agrees the sours they brew are just as excellent as well. Hoping to vist one of these days. Cheers and beers

Some of the tastiest brews. I came all the way from NYC and this spot has been long on my list. Did not (and in my honest opinion, can not) disappoint.

Excellent beer, Great atmosphere! The beer is innovative, shows great attention to detail, balanced, and their skills clearly show in it. Highly recommended!

Used to be a great place. Their focus is on commercial brewing now, not a tap room. Used to be a fun place to go. No need to go there now. Too bad.

Great selection, cozy environment, friendly staff. Just off 390, but the location gives me the feeling of being away from everything.

I wish it had been a better day and there was outdoor seating, but I did get lucky enough to grab a prime spot among the few tables by the bar. I had 3 top notch stouts which were all done very well and took a few more cans home. Computer glitch, but the all the guys couldn't have been nicer/more apologetic even though they were as helpless as I was. My 1st time IN, 2nd AT, Mortalis, but as much as it can't be an every weekend kind of deal, I certainly hope it's not the last. Avon area, hit up this gem OFTEN and CBGs, it's worth the pilgrimage!

This place is incredible. If you like sour beers then this is the place! Amazing.
9/15. Back again, This place is crazy. If you want to see angels while drinking beer, you have to come here. GAWD this place is good!

Update Nov. 2021. Tasting room closed, outdoor only. Just a few on tap or you buy cans. Really pushing the 4 pack to go. I was very disappointed, made the trip, no one around drinking, just buy and go. Maybe that works for them, but many of us like the opportunity to have a drink, talk, sample and relax. Unless you want to buy and go and hope the beer you picked is really good, don't bother.

This is honestly some of the best beer I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I wish I lived closer. The staff is always excellent and pleasant, and assist you with any questions that you may have on the drinks. I have tried other sour beer breweries since visiting Mortalis, and nothing compares. Their bumper stickers are pretty cool too. Cheers.

The best brewery in NYS if not the entire country in my opinion and a mere 90min drive from my house. Josh, Dave, & Paul have created not just a brewery but a beer family!

Best beer I have ever had, my fiance doesn't even drink beer and she loved it as well. Nicest people I have ever encountered working at a brewery! Exceeded all expectations and I will struggle to find another beer that I like as much! Absolute must go.

If you’re looking for a great hype-train brewery this place does all the trendy stuff perfectly, don’t expect anything technical like a Czech lager or a mixed/spontaneously fermented beer though

Got lucky, they were doing 2 per person for today's Barrel Aged Black is Beautiful.

Love Mortalis, hope they have a proper taproom again soon.

Worth the wait for any of their beers, including their amazing sour beers! Wonderful experience visiting brewery/drive thru.
