Moss Dermatology: Moss Tamara MD, Forest Hills NY

The actual patient-doctor/PA service is pretty good. However, my first appointment was made with one PA, and then the day of my appointment, I was seen by a different PA without any warning. Turns out the original PA was there the entire time because he ended up coming in with the other PA to re-verify what the first one already told me. Didn't like that. The customer service experience is awful. Every time you call, it goes to the gastro office and not the dermatology office, so you're put on hold and the people answering are always rushing you. I'll hang up and call back 3 more times and wait on hold for 15 minutes each time. Even in person, the people at the desk are always rushing you. I was waiting to speak to someone about my bill and when I was finally put through, the person didn't understand why I wasn't transferred because she wasn't busy at all. The people at the front are very disorganized and inconsiderate about patients' time and sanity. It's a shame because the actual providers are really great and thorough, but the front desk employees give a bad impression. Dr. Tamara Moss, if you're seeing this, please consider hiring new staff because they're hurting your business and the other reviews support this statement.

So disappointed after having positive experiences in the past. The staff was absolutely fantastic. No issues there.

Office is clean.

Dr. Moss disappointed me this time due to a misdiagnosis of a simple skin issue. Standard upper body check. Tells me on Friday the little bump on my chest was nothing. Well by Sunday - it was full blown red inflamed and coming to a head. By Tuesday - I went to forest urgent care and dr. Lum took care of the issue. I found a new dermatologist in FH and will be seeing them. I did notify Dr. Moss of the issue. No response.

Trying to make an appointment over the phone is near impossible. I was on hold 30 minutes trying to make an appointment for myself and my wife. Every 10 minutes someone picked up and claimed to be transferring me to dermatology and put me on hold again. I finally discovered that you can "request" an appointment online via their website. Someone is supposed to call me back to confirm. Let's see if they do.

I was seen by Ms. Allain and she worked wonders! I came in hoping that my large pimples could be resolved, however, I was sure nothing could be done. Ms. Allain, a PA-C, gave me great treatment and I noticed my pimples looked much better by the end of the day. I was treated with great care and would recommend her to anyone!

This place has the rudest staff I have ever seen! I don't care when I'm treated rudely, but I just witnessed how the receptionist was extremely rude to an older person that only was asking for help. I was a long time patient there, I tried to get an appointment by phone several times. The front desk received the phone and said wait. I waited 20 minutes then call three times and same thing happened. They did not help me to get an
appointment. I decided to go different doctor.

Excellent service. No long wait time. Very knowledgeable PA'S on staff.

I was a patient of Raymond dermatologist, he was great I returned for Botox and idk what the hell was use as Botox, horrible results I’m so disappointed

Have been going to Dr Moss for over 20 years. She's the BEST at what she does. Could only say great things about her staff especially Bouchra. She kind and attentive and greats you with open arms. Thanks to Dr Moss and her great staff I'll keep returning for whatever my needs are.

The dr is fine but the staff plays favorites. I’ve been waiting longer than a hour and 4 patients that came after me went in before me. Be mindful of that.

Dr Tamera Moss excellent dermatologist cut away growth had on my arm for biopsy didn't feel a thing excellent bedside manner took time to explain everything to me office's waiting room bathroom exceptionally clean after filled out paperwork for new patient only waited about 10 min to see Dr receptionists at front desk extremely courteous friendly as well as technicians assisting Dr Moss 2nd visit also went quickly very busy practice just Dr Moss so may have to wait little longer but definitely worth the wait highly recommend Dr Moss to everyone dedicated down to earth compassionate highly skilled dermatologist

Dr Tamara Moss is very well and experienced doctor. Her way of talking with patients is very cordial. I always recommend this place to everyone for skin related problems.
