Motel 6 - Elmsford

Not my favorite place.i think the worst part was when employees began to call ICE because they sent my personal information to them.

My room was filthy, hair in my towels and crumbs in the sheets. But the two workers I spoke to at the front were lovely and made my experience here much better than it would have been otherwise.

You should understand, this place is not a fancy high standard hotel. But for one hundred buck a night sleepover it's good enough

If you just need a place to crash it’s fine: but more then that eh. You need glue your own shampoo and com buy

We stayed here after a long day's journey from Atlantic Canada. Cheap for the NYC area at $160ish a night. If you value your life, you may not want to stay here. We thought, White Plains area, how bad can it be? Well, it is terrible. Drug deals are happening in the parking lot and hotel front office behind bulletproof glass.yeah, not the best Motel 6 out there.

It's a 2-star establishment. You get what you pay for. The wifi is weak. Only good for emails and light web browsing, not streaming (not even YouTube). The sink in our room drained veryyyyy slowly. The stopper was stuck so, yeah.yuck! Staff was M. I. A.at the front desk. Only a pain in the "A" during check-in. Checking out was even better. The maid knocked twice, "house keeping", proceeds to swipe her key card and enter our room while we're still in bed.and then proceed to have a conversation with us about the checkout time while still piercing through the open door. I don't care. I lost over 70lbs. She can look, but CLOSE THE DOOR. However, the room was a smoking room (420), staff were friendly and helpful when available, shower gets nice and hot, pet friendly, kids stay free. I'd stay here again.

The staff here is amazing and that's what has made my stay really memorable. Unfortunately I don't know all the staff members names, but at the very least I would like to mention Nilima. She has been top notch and always going out of her way to be helpful. There are other staff at the front desk and even the cleaning ladies have been super amazing. If I ever have a problem they do whatever they can to jump into action and fix it or if I ever need anything they go out of their way to get it for me as fast as they can. And on top of this all, this Motel is the cheapest of all the Motel's and Hotel's in the area. The only downside is that there is no fridge or microwave in the room however there is a microwave and an ice machine in the lobby so for the price I have no problem making due. Last but not least this place is pet friendly and they don't charge anything extra for my little guy and that is huge for me!

Save your money! This motel is DIRTY. Dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, dirty floors, everything was dirty. The parking is awful, it smelled like cigarettes in our non-smoking room, and the window had bars and was facing a concrete wall. Disgusting motel.

Motel 6's usually have a fridge n microwave in each of the rooms. This one doesn't. Have to walk to main office for ice, coffee n hot water. No condiments.
The room seems clean.

Unfortunately there was an excessively intrusive neighbor who could not help but make it known she was there all night? I was not sure if there was illegal activity occurring. They wrote a complaint to the manager who never followed up with me therefore the message I got was that her behavior was somehow my fault? Smelly and dirty rooms, intrusive neighbors. Go if you feel like it

When we first got there and look like the bathroom was not really clean it was hair still in the tub and an empty tissue no extra spare tissue in the bathroom. And only one trash came in the bathroom no screen on the bathroom window and the window was wide open so make anything could have came in there. I had a baby stroller with me cuz I just had a baby and I was recovering from my C-section and I asked could I get a first floor no you have to call an advance for that but the last time I came I spoke to someone and I was like you know can I get it first floor because of the stroller and they said yes no problem so this was a younger girl this time so I'm guessing she's new cuz I haven't seen her because I do stay here often on the weekends but it was just real inconsiderate she didn't even want to try to look for another room

Got in to ny around 5 am after a 20 hr drive from fl and I called twice in fl and 1 hour away to comfirm I was able to check in being 18 yo the male said “yah yah just come in we have rooms” I’m thinking great and I get there he charges the room as 5am Wensdsy to 11am thrusday no issues thrusday comes around I go to get another night and the lady says I have to be 19 the website says 18 he said 18 she finally agreed and we went on we get back around 11pm and the card won’t work I take it to the same male and he gives me another and it works Friday morning comes around 9 am we get a call in the room the lady is yelling at my boyfriend “why are you in the room get out you were supposed to be gone thrusday I’ll call cops ” keep in mind she check me in thrusday with no issues so I go to the front and she gets rude saying we were supposed to leave yesterday and I didn’t pay even though I gave her another $106 thrusday and I paid 106 Wensdsy she says “no no you didn’t pay I have paper I’ll prove you didn’t pay “ the male comes and she lies saying I sneaked in and I only paid once but funny thing SHE NEVER PULLED UP THE PAPER and he came running to my room 10 mins later apologizing to us because he check us in at 5am and we should’ve left 5 hours later the same day we checked in what kind of bs is that I drive 20 hours for the motel to almost of charged me another $100 to stay definitely be careful with the front people and make sure you back up all payments I didn’t because I paid cash

For accessibity to a room, u must call to designate a 1st floor room! Bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.
Here's the details:
2 exterior floor levels with Outdoor access to rooms. Doors are not insulated from weather - snow & wind can enter around door edges- bottom & sides. Key card entry. Parking area is small & limited - a towed trailer won't fit. This motel does accept dogs. No fridge or microwave in rooms. Very Minimalistic rooms include only beds, sun blocking curtains, tight full bathroom, heat & cool wall unit, mirror, DirectTV, phone, 1 overhead & 2 bedside lamps with outlets for charging 2 phones/tablets, wi-fi, desk & chair, vinyl flooring (bring slippers! Socks pickup all floor debris & its cold), a few hangers & hooks on the wall, no closet. Microwave, ice & vending available in 24hr office area.
No bed bugs found in our room.
We only needed a "cheap" place to sleep. This was the lowest cost available in a 20 mile radius.
The walls are very thin u can hear everything your neighbors are doing & their door sounds like ur door.
But, we don't require fancy & so tired we slept through the noise. Coulda been better, coulda been worse. If u wanna spend over $200/night + fees, go elsewhere, get more.
Just come here prepared & U'll be fine. We were, except for needing a Swiffer for the floor.
