Mountain Fusion-Sushi & Ramen House reviews
15 Wow, the customer service and food was amazing.
I was out with my partner, and I had a huge craving for Ramen and she wanted sushi so we went through all the reviews and found this place
The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The broth for the soup was amazing! And the sushi was just as spectacular.
Thank you mountain fusion. We will see you on the next trip.

The food was horrible! I ordered Sushi. The rice was so sticky more so mushy. I use ny chopsticks and everything fall apart! The shrimp tempura under cooked. Never again will I eat from here. Waste of money
Food was good but I had a Groupon for the second time and they told me it had to be with 2 people. The first time they never mentioned that and when I purchased both it said it was good for any day and nothing about 2 people. They told me that in the future it has to be 2 people. I dine alone often and the Groupon cost 19 dollars for 25 credit. $6 dollar discount. I spent a total of 33 dollars and by purchasing it they got me in there to spend money! However if they won't let me use a Groupon for myself then I'll take my business across the street to Tokyo sushi! Im sure they will welcome my business! They lost me as a customer over a measly 6 dollars!
I paid close to $70 with the delivery fee and tip and look how much soy Sauce they gave me for all of this food PERIOD they are very expensive and it's not Justified WHY would You give me so little soy Sauce with so much sushi halfway through both of our orders we had no Sauce at all. Why are you giving us flavourless low sodium when it was not requested as well? There are so many other places that provide better service and better value. I advise you to go anywhere else
Edit: your response is disingenuous. The first place I look of course is the bag. Maybe it fell out in your car, your server lied?
I've been eating sushi for many years and have never had to special request regular soy sauce. You have it reversed, you have to ask for low sodium otherwise they give you regular. As for as pricing, it is not competitive it is almost 10 dollars a roll. I would be embarrassed if I were the owner of this business and can't even take basic responsibility and dish out only excuses.
Good place to eat sushi. Fish is fresh and tasty. Glad we stopped in. We will be back. Be aware parking is not easy, but the slight inconvenience is worth it.
So we always order delivery from here, which we haven’t had a problem with. The few times that we have physical came into the restaurant to dine in, EACH TIME, whoever the server is, she is HORRIBLE. You have to flag her down to provide services. She doesn’t offer customers any water or anything. She just sits there and waits until you flag her down. I mean if you don’t like your job and don’t like the environment you’re working in, quit! Don’t serve your dine-in customers with a face like you don’t want to bother with them. We have to ask for her service Every time we needed anything, not at all tentative, as a waitress. And it is not like the restaurant is super busy. We were the ONLY there and this happened the few times we were there too. JUST HORRIBLE WAITRESSING SERVICES!
Food tastes amazing and service is quite fast, I frequently come here and the food never disappoints.
Had dinner there Tuesday evening, August 8,2023.
My girlfriend had a California Roll & a Yellowtail Naruto. It went right through her, she felt absolutely awful, all through the next day.
I had the Sashimi Deluxe. The fish was ok, wasn't very fresh.
Wouldn't recommend.
I order the sea bass teriyaki entree. But I can’t believe they using the red snapper instead of sea bass. This is really unacceptable! Never gonna order from here. They treated the customer like idiots. Can’t forgive. Horrible!
You can get cheaper sushi in Manhattan for those pricesI ordered over seamless and I’ve never been to a single sushi place that charges 8 bucks for 6 pieces of sushi it’s actually ridiculous. I got a salmon avocado roll and for that price you expect twice the amount but you could imagine my surprise seeing how little food was in there when it arrived. We also ordered the beef Yalu tori which was also around 7-8 bucks and it was less than a handful of meat put on two sticks. HIGHWAY ROBBERY, you’d be better off going to a buffet and actually getting your moneys worth. The Thai tea was good tho
My absolute favorite place to get sushi on Staten Island! The food is always high quality and the service is great when you dine in. Absolutely love it here!
This is a decent place for sushi and ramen. If you use Uber eats, there is a great buy one get one deal. The food here is good compared to the other spots on the island. The Ramen broth is very tasty, but I feel it can be more composed. It's missing something. The sushi is pretty fresh, and they do have a good variety.
My dad took me here on a trip back to Staten Island, great sushi and service. Fresh sushi is the best thank you!
Great food, great service, awesome atmosphere. Ask for Jane. She works extremely hard to make sure your experience is amazing. I highly recommend
Nothing special about the special rolls. I ordered the New York roll and Gambino roll. Both rolls tasted old and not fresh, which is a no no when it comes to eating raw fish.
The New York roll was basically a California roll without the cucumber and just the spicy salmon mixture on top. It also mentioned having crab and it had the fake crab instead. Charging me 15+ for that is robbery. For a roll to be special it needs to have some sort of homemade sauce in addition to the unique dry ingredients, this adds an extra flavor profile and moisture to the sushi. Otherwise it's just a regular roll. Looking at other Japanese restaurants in NYC their special rolls have the additional homemade sauces. Only thing that was decent from here was the Thai tea.
