By far the worst parking lot in NYC! Attendants would not let us access our car to get medication. My girlfriend takes medication for her thyroid and left her spare meds in the car. Attendants laughed at us when we explained the situation and told us to go to a pharmacy. If you are staying in the surrounding hotels, the staff can’t help either because MPG is it’s own company. The parking staff are incredibly rude and lack serious customer service skills. I have never met a group of people that are so heartless. When we told them we were going to the car anyways, they chased us down and screamed at us the entire way. They told us it was impossible to access our car, OUR property. All to say, we found our car after searching for awhile and got what we needed, too bad for them we had the spare key. Avoid this place at all costs.

They broke my mirror by backing up. They gave me paper work for insurance. Now they wont answer the phone or emails. Its been 2 months. Dont park here.

Horrendous experience. Reserved here for comicon. A line of 5 cars took them 90 minutes to clear. Leaving me, and 2 kids and a wife in a car idling the entire time. Myself and other patrons kept trying to walk out of our card and get answers and the mutants who work here couldn’t explain what was going on. The kicker, the line of card eventually grows and grows and a car cuts off the line of people waiting 90 mins and they let him right in because and I quote “he always parks here”. We missed out on almost 2 hours of comicon because 3 baboons took over 90 mins to park 5 cars. When we return it was over 1 hour to get our car out. These people clearly get paid hourly. DO NOT PARK HERE!

DO NOT RESERVE TO PARK HERE! I had two reservations for an event I was working. I made the reservation days in advance, and paid in full for both days. I arrived on time and promptly for my reservation. I was immediately turned away from the garage because the attendant said "the garage is completely full". I explained that I prepaid and showed my reservation. I was still turned away. They refused my service and told me to call their office. Well, I've been calling the office for a few days now and it's impossible to reach anyone. Why even have a reservation system just turn people away unless you're hoping to scam people? I'm currently filing a fraudulent payment with my bank, and the whole thing is ridiculous.

If I could I would rate this as negative zero this was a horrible experience from the start I parked my car and the attendant never explained to me that once I park my car I could not take it out until I check out of the hotel I had a 2.5 day stay at the hotel the first morning I had an appointment at 9: 30am when I came to get my car I was told if I took the car coming back I would have to pay an additional fee. On the last day I came to pick up my car from the garage I was told that I arrived one hour before the check out time. I had pay for 24 hour service when I approached the kiosk the attendant was talking on his walkie talkie he reached his hand I gave him the ticket and he held on to the ticket and kept on talking on the walkie talkie. He then scanned the ticket and said I owed $75. I told him that can’t be because I got a discount since I was a guest at YOTEL he told me I was one minute late so I had to pay an additional $25 but during that time he we were standing in line. This was horrible service if you can avoid this garage.

I parked at the 41st street and 10th Avenue location. Didn’t realize they closed at 12 and they never stayed so either! Returned from boat ride to find it closed and no way of getting my car. Such an inconvenience! Then having to return the next day to the same attendant with no remorse AND to be charged for the overnight stay I never requested! Never to return there!

Can I give negative stars please? Here’s the synopsis:
(Relating to 355 W 34th St lot)
-Reserved space on the app.
-Received confirmation. All good.
Show up to park. They scanned my code. Parked my car. All good.
-Show up 3 days later with the receipt to pick up my car.
“You cancelled your reservation”. UM no. I didn’t. You have my car. I see it. You have my keys.
“You cancelled your reservation”
I check my email. Sure enough there is a cancellation email at 3: 17pm on the day I dropped the car off (3: 17 is also the approximate time I dropped my car).
WHY WHY WHY would I have cancelled my reservation right when I dropped it off?
No idea what happened. I showed them the reservation and that I prepaid the $165. They said nope. To get my car I now have to pay $234 since I cancelled. WHICH I DID NOT!
I suspect they see woman from maine - let’s see if we can get more from her. I 100% believe they did something on their end to cancel. All I wanted was them to acknowledge that I indeed had prepaid and only charge me what I had paid originally.

I’ve reserved parking many times in other places with no problems. I’m not an idiot when it comes to this stuff.

We went on a Sunday morning and waited a full hour before they finally checked our car in. There were only 2 people managing the cars for everyone arriving and leaving. When it was finally our turn, the guy asked for extra money so our car would be in 'VIP' spot and we wouldn't have to wait when it was time to leave. Never again.

An attendant at this lot severely damaged my car by backing up into a pole or wall (which they of course didn't tell me about until after I paid my bill). They admitted to damaging the car in an incident report and told me I'd hear from the MPG claim department the next day, but that never happened. After a week of MPG not returning my calls or emails, I had to work through my own insurance agency.

Accidents happen, and I appreciate the parking lot's honesty, but I will never park at an MPG lot again because they do not follow-up even after they smash the back of your car in.

DO NOT RESERVE A SPOT. Drove to midtown from PA for a Broadway play and RESERVED a spot only to fight traffic to get to this lot to find out the lot was full. I did not pay in advance for the POSSIBILITY to have a spot. I paid to RESERVE a spot. Ultimately missed the musical because of this mess.still waiting on the refund I was promised.

Drove all the way from Pennsylvania to the parking location on Steinway in Astoria, New York. Had a reservation from 5: 00 until 11: 00 p.m. When I arrived, the attendant told him that they were closing today at 10: 00 p.m. And that I either find a way to get my car out or to leave. My wife and I had to find off street parking countless blocks away. After contacting them they did not want to give me a refund, they asked me very weird questions like where I stayed where I parked my car. Kind of weird for someone to to ask those questions. For anyone coming out of state or anyone reading this review, do not choose MPG for your parking. Go anywhere else for the love of God. I wish there was a way for me to screenshot and post the conversation

This place was great. I accidentally left my wallet in the car on front seat with money and credit cards and nothing was taken. I am impressed thank u.

Reasonably priced. Centrally located to midtown Manhattan. (Times Square, Broadway, etc.)
Parking attendants were nice. Overall it was a quick and easy process.
You can make the reservation online but are still asked to save the paper ticket they give you in case you go over your time. If possible, I'd say just convert that over to the QR you're given to for the entirety of the reservation as it kind of defeats the purpose.
There is no in/out service if you are wondering.
I experienced no issues.
