MPG Parking Garage (Boro) reviews
6Used one of the Parking Spot Apps and saved approx. 50% off reg.price. The drop off process was pretty quick. Attendant had to move 4 cars out of the way to retrieve my car which only took about 5 min.or so. I would definitely recommend this garage.
I had an awful experience here. I went in and asked the guy if I could have a ticket and he was immediately angry and yelled at me that he would get to me soon. I was so flustered by his sudden anger that I forgot to leave the keys in the car (oops). When I returned an hour later he was furious. Over and over, he told me what an awful thing I'd done. Refused to let me leave until I gave him a $20 tip. After I gave him the money he kept yelling at me in front of another customer. I felt scared. I would have been happy to pay a fee for my mistake, but his rage was unprofessional and troubling. Eventually I tried treating him like a child, and said, I can see that you're really angry with me. And that's okay. It's okay to be angry. He let me go. Does this company treat their employees cruelly? Or was it just this guy's bad day? Plus at $28 for an hour of weekday parking, it's expensive. Bottom line: don't forget your keys in the car, get ready to pay a lot, and be prepared to wait patiently for the attendant, or else face some serious wrath.
Also, a note for people with mobility issues or wheelchair users like me: the entrance to the garage is STEEP and LONG. It's pretty treacherous unless you feel really confident about your arm strength/chair power/brakes/legs/crutch use.
It's NY over priced for grabage quality. Come to New Jersey, for your money's worth
The old guy did not give me instruction where to stop at entry, instead he yelled at me, I didn’t want to make a scene, so I let him take my car, thanks god it was just a everyday car I wouldn’t care much, on my way back, I stand at the pay station window and try to get his attention, he looked at his phone consistently without looking up, I stood for like 2 min tried not to be rude on a Saturday, i ended up had enough waited and tapped his windows and finally got his attention, I pulled up my car and told me it was $15 for the parking and I pulled out my SpotHero code, he yelled at me again: ” You should’ve gave me when you came in first” I said to him I am supposed to give you the code when I picked up my car, what’s wrong, it seemed like we finally settled and ready to leave, I hate to say this is the first time I am giving a bad review or bad comment on a parking lot (really), this guy got no soul on his job which I get it, some people hate the job and still works there, but treating people in a bad manner like that was a totally different thing, I give 2 stars because I parked there that’s all
Horrible experience. Had coupon for $30 for three hours, but attendant charged me $38 because we arrived at 11: 58 instead of 12: 00. Max charge for 12 hrs is $35 so he RIPPED ME OFF. We will dispute with AmEX.
