Mt Hope Family Diner reviews
12The food was subpar. The waiters were attentive but we waited 40-50 min for our order and they messed up the milkshake order.
The food was fantastic! I had sausage gravy, biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee, it was all perfect! The service was fast, polite, and cheerful from the initial greeting until praying the check. I highly recommend going there if you are in the area and want a great meal with great portions for great prices with as smile!
Thank you Mt Hope diner for a great breakfast experience after a not great day yesterday!
ME AND MY FAMILY LOVE IT HERE! Food is always good service is beyond amazing everytime DEFINITELY a good FAMILY spot.
The food is very good as is the service. This last time there were 9 of us for breakfast Everyone enjoyed there meal. The coffee was very good. Have been there before and will definitely go back again. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items. You can also order breakfast menu items any time of day.
Solid classic, no frills east coast diner Great experience coming here again after 15 years. Corned beef hash and pancakes are just as we remembered.
We came here for breakfast as out-of-towners. It's very obviously a favorite local spot, and we felt welcome. Delicious food, amazing service, and such a warm, familial atmosphere.
The place is similar to a "ArtDeco" diner from the 20th century. In fact it is just that. Service is excellent, the food is very good. The management is seeing that everyone is taken care of.
Breakfeast was tasty and good portions. Price wise is great also. All waitress are great and work hard. My tip to them is between 10- 20 dollars no matter the cost.
The diner is good for what it is, a neighborhood eatery providing ordinary food at a good price. The menu has a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The food is ok but not as good as similar restaurants like Jay's or Steve's. The staff are pleasant and efficient. The facilities are a bit cramped. It has its niche and is a good place for a quick bite if you are in the area. I certainly like it better than the fast food franchises.
Pretty good little spot. I only go there when meeting my wife at her work nearby. Good food at good prices with friendly staff. Not greatest atmosphere or outstanding dishes BUT decent overall.
Excellent and fast service. The food was decent with good portion size. Their pancakes felt slightly below par.
The ambience was nice, but their cutlery is pretty old. The coffee mug was chipped off here and there, and the plates looked pretty worn out. I think it’s time for them to renovate because some parts of their roof had mold, which is not good for restaurants in general.
And it wasn’t easy to find parking space on a Sunday morning.
Never have I had a bad meal here! Very friendly and great for children! Enough food that you get food and it's a great price! I ordered soft scrambled eggs. I let them sit for a little bit to see if they would become more firm, and they didn't! Thank you to the cook who knows what soft scrambled is! The staff is great! It's definitely one of my favorite places for home cooked comfort food! Roe is the best! That's my girl!
